It's all about the wine.

The Florida Estates Winery is a real unique experience. Located in Land O Lakes, just a short drive from Tampa right inside what seems a cattle ranch, yes lots of cows. This is truly a slow paced placed where you bring snacks, buy wine, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The wine is made by owner/bartender whom explains his process of... More

I enjoyed this a lot. we had a Groupon for wine tasting with souvenir glasses and a bottle of wine. The gentleman doing the tasting was very Informative albeit a bit on the gruff side but that just gave the tasting more character. The wines were mostly good but on the sweet side and I prefer a dryer wine We... More

This winery is only half an hour from my home and my husband and I had been twice. In August I took my sister visiting from Chicago there for a last minute afternoon excursion. It is a small house that has been converted to a wine tasting bar and small store and once a month they try to have a... More

The Florida Estates Winery was a TREAT! Laid back HIDDEN GEM! Like the old saying,"No shirt no shoes no problem" -Jimmy buffet. A true Florida southern hospitality feel! Realxing and inspiring, the land is captivating. As a server/manager/bartendar, I try to get out and try something new. This was an unique expierence and absolutly delicious! The Casa Del Sol Strawberry... More

Looking for something different to do in Pasco County? Well take a trip to Florida Estates Winery off SR 52 between I-75 and US 41, about halfway between Ehren Cutoff and Bellamy Brothers Rd. Tavel about a mile down a dirt road and you come to an outstanding Wine Oasis and you'll be glad that you did. Once you step... More

The man was socially challenged, not over the top but subtly rude. He explained there were no vineyards due to hurricanes. The place was dark, dirty and dingy. My girlfriend and I would have been better off looking at wine at a local convenience store. The wines tasted watered down except the Port which we bought a bottle of (mostly... More

You pass cattle instead of vines to get to this winery. It doesn't look like much, but the proprietor obviously enjoys his craft and has some nice choices for tasting and purchase. I especially enjoyed the port and bought a bottle to take home.

If you visited "real" wineries in California, overseas, etc with tours- this winery is NOT it. Basically , you go into a room, taste some wines, and that's it. Definitely Not worth a long drive, but if you are passing by, its fun to make a stop.
