Although a relative small area as gardens go this manicured beauty boasts more than 10,000 flowers, beautiful fountains, and a picturesque view of Lake Mirror. Music actually plays as you drift through the rose garden, butterfly trail, and down a grand staircase of neoclassical design. When you find yourself gazing over lovely Lake Mirror, you’ll be grateful you thought to... More

Love the gardens, love the birds and love the atmosphere. Lots of beautiful botanicals, only wish they had labels. Lots of families looking for decorated rocks. Seems they have a program to get children out in nature looking for these treasures.

Walked through Hollis Garden and loved the way they set it up. It is so relaxing and tranquil. We went on a hot and sunny day but there are places that are shaded.

Nicely situated on Lake Mirror in downtown Lakeland, this free garden is open 9-6 most days. Koi swim in a pool, a central fountain is perfect for photos and classical music is piped in. Square areas of planted flowers, sculptures and lush palms grace the terraced steps.

Hollis Gardens was a gift to the City. It was designed and executed by a professional landscaper. It's a real pleasure to visit. Very nice setting.

This was a pleasant surprise to relax after visiting my wife's mom at a local nursing home. We need to ease the stress of the visit and relax. The garden cafe was a great way to have lunch and something to drink before heading back home. The gardens were beautiful and well maintain. The lake in the middle and the... More

One of the most photographed areas in Lakeland, you'll see wedding parties and graduates alike enjoying the beautiful backdrops the Gardens provide. Great for a stroll with your sweetheart or browsing the horticultural haven....from the herb garden to the koi pond, you'll experience the beautiful displays of flowers and even in-season vegetables.
