First we ate. The restaurant cost as much as any where else to eat in the area. The food was good. Then we panned for fossils and gems while we waited on our airboat tour. The mother load package was well worth the cost, our little one found a gem as big as her head! The air boat tour was fantastic. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable he found us a couple big gators and educated us on the surrounding lake and wildlife. When we arrived back at the dock the Native show had already begun. He welcomed our late arriving group and shared some interesting and at times hilarious OIT’s . His attitude and presentation were the highlight of our very fun filled day.

Love this place. Expert Captains will take you around Toho lake to see Florida fauna and flora but while you wait for your ride you can visit the indian village and chat with a descendant of Native Americans. After boat tour you can stop at restaurant and taste alligator tail. Complete package. Call Discount Tours if you need ride out there. They'll wait for you no xtra charge. I visited Boggy Creek with my kids.
The first day we visited, we attempted to wait out the rain to pass. The staff was nice enough to let us walk the property while waiting and check out the alligators they have there on loan from Gatorland. The rain did not let up, but because of their hospitality, we decided to drive back out the following day if the weather faired better, and it did!
We went with the Ultimate Package which included boatride, lunch and gemstone mining.
Our captain was great. He pointed out the different variety of birds and scenery during our tour. We were lucky enough to see a few gators, one was about 4 feet from us. The ride was nice and smooth to start, and towards the end the captain had a little fun with us and sped things up a bit!
Lunch was good, typical hamburgers, hotdogs, they even had a veggie burger which I went with since I am vegan. That being said, the animals on site and wildlife are treated humanely from what we saw. I read this from other reviews and is why I decided to visit.
Gemstone mining was good also. Each bucket had a handful of gemstones for the kids to pan.
All in all, I would highly recommend for a great airboat tour in the central Florida area.

A vast shallow reed bed area on the edge of the local lake is a home for wildlife, many birds as well as alligators and turtles. We saw them all. The ride was also better than most fairground rides.

Did 1 hour and had a great time!
Jan 1/23, and we saw at least 6 large alligators, turtles, rare bird sightings.
Our guide was knowledgeable and let us enjoy the ride & immerse ourselves in the natural splendor without endless chatter.
We have been on rides with 3 different companies and Boggy Creek was by far our favorite! We also enjoyed exploring the property before and after our ride. Thanks Boggy Creek for a great day!

The ride was good. We saw a number of alligators. However, the lack of earphones was a real problem. You just miss so much without hearing the general description of what we were seeing on the lake. The guide/driver would talk, but only when we came to a full stop. The boat was fine, we had a full hour ride, but I just felt that it was a bit behind other rides. I would not go on this ride again.

Thank you for the feedback. We do not have commentary in the ear muffs because we prefer giving our customers one on one time and our captains stop the boat and turn it off along the way to get a more up close and personal experience. We prefer that to trying to speak through the hearing protection while the boat is running.

Captain Brandon did a great job. This experience was fun for all ages! My elderly mom was nervous at first at the speed (28 mph too speed-ha!) and all the fan/ engine noise. But once she got settled in, it was fine. My teenagers enjoyed it. I saw younger kids cracking up. The scenery was beautiful, even though we didn’t see any gators—too hot. The noise is VERY loud but they do provide headphones to cover the noise. But do not expect a relaxing, peaceful time! Ha! Anyway, just prepare all your people (especially the ones sensitive to sound or anxiety) as best as you can with videos and conversations. All of us loved this adventure!

Words cannot describe how amazing our evening was. We had Captain Patrick as our guide and what a genuinly lovely man he is. He was incredibly insightful and answered all of our questions. The tour was filled with facts about the wildlife and surrounding areas. We saw crocodiles, a nest of baby crocs and plenty of local birds. The sunset was by far one of the most beautiful sights we have ever seen. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone and we will 100% do this again on our next trip to the states. Thank you Patrick and your team for an evening we will not forget.

It was wonderful! We enjoyed our guide/ captain very much. He was so informative, pleasant, fun-AND on a cold day with no sun- was STILL able to show us gators, great ride- and the best bird life and scenery we’ve seen for some time! Would DEFINITELY suggest going to anyone! Thanks for a great time!

We took the 1 hour tour in the morning with Captain John. We saw a momma alligator guarding her nest, two baby alligators that were a couple years old and several birds. Captain John made several stops to explain the wildlife and lake Toho. Highly recommend this and would do this again if we're back in the area during a different time of year.

All ages are welcome on all tours. We do not have a minimum age or height requirement for our tours. A child under 2 can sit on your lap or ride beside you. They usually enjoy the ride, but some have a problem with the noise and/or wearing a life vest which is required for children under 6.

Hi there, do you allow dogs on your tours? We have a Boxer who’s used to being on boats with us and we are visiting from NJ of course we’d love to bring him with us if we did the boat tour.

We only allow service animals. If it is then they must be on a leash and in control at all times. If the captain seems the animal not in control and could cause a risk for other passengers, then he may refuse boarding on the boat. The boats are very loud and animals are a natural food for alligators, so although we allow service animals we do not recommend them. It could cause undue stress from the extreme sound and danger with alligators that have a fear of humans but not animals.

Uber or Taxi. Unfortunately, since the tours are taking you to see animals in the wild we can not guarantee to see any particular thing while on your tour during the day. The captains are very good at finding wildlife, but there are times of the year and times of the day that it's harder to find things. Most animals don’t like extreme weather so try to avoid going on the airboat during the middle of the day during the warm months, and the mornings during the cold months. We do however guarantee to see alligators on the night tour. This is when they come out to feed. Night
tours do not go out in weather colder than 50ºF.

We have a few different rides to choose from. Some require reservations and some do not. Our 30 minute tour is $27.95 for an adult and $23.95 for a child and does not require reservations. Our 60 minute tours are $47.95 for an adult and $39.95 for children. We also have 60 minute sunset and night tours at $54.95 for an adult and $47.95 for children. We guarantee gator sightings at night, so this is a very popular tour. Last but not least - we have private tours available on our 6 passenger airboats (versus our standard 17 passenger airboat rides) and a new You-Drive airboat experience where you can drive your own boat accompanied by one of our experienced captains.
