This is an extensive collection of diving equipment throughout history. Mixed in is history and model ships. The models keep the children interested. This is a collection amassed by one man who was passionate about diving. Unfortunately he passed a couple of years ago. There are some nice memorabilia available for purchase.

We spotted this on our drive down to Key West from Miami and determined to stop on our way back north, and we're so glad we did. It was a fascinating look into the history of scuba diving. The owners are clearly passionate about diving and have gone to a lot of effort to set up this walk through time.... More

We had been driving past the museum for years. We finally stopped in on a rainy afternoon. Glad we did, the museum is rather small but packs a lot of information into the space as a diver, I knew about some of the information but didn't realize that divers had been around since early biblical times. Allow plenty of time... More

As a naval author and historian, I was impressed with the extensive collection of rare artifacts and the remarkable history of salvage diving in the Florida Keys. I am a scuba diver and despite the beautiful day, the museum lured me in like an undiscovered cache divers treasure; "Pieces of Eight" Some exhibits are "Under Construction" but for those of... As a family of divers, this was a worthwhile visit when we had a rainy miserable day and were not out on the water.

Love to visit this amazing museum as it is always being upgraded and expanded to include additional treasures of diving artifacts. Well worth the price of admission on any day, not just on rainy days, as one can get lost in history for hours with so many interactive displays, videos and presentations. Do not miss the film before entering the... More

I don't even dive and I enjoyed the museum. They have a great collection of diving equipment since it's beginning. Just really cool stuff to check out.

I I thoroughly enjoyed this Museum. The introduction at the beginning was beneficial. The collection is extensive and well laid out in a tasteful and engaging manner. I would absolutely revisit this Museum and recommend it highly to anyone. To boot, they offer student discounts, free entry to active military, and even welcome our four legged dog friends!!!!

A fantastic collection of old diving equipment. My husband, an exdiver, was quite fascinated by it all. It is fairly small.

This looks small, but wait until you get inside. One of the most interesting museums in the area. Very unique items on exhibit. On Wednesday evenings, there are free lectures by experts. Long history of driving, from the most primitive to the latest. Should be a great rainy day activity. And definitely - bring the kids.
