We booked a snorkeling trip with Seamonkey's Scuba Diving. The day we arrived, the waters were rough and choppy at Alligator Reef Lighthouse and we were initially disappointed. However, we have a 12 yo old daughter and she would have spent more time battling the waves than enjoying the underwater scenery. Our captain ensure us that we would have a... More

We dive at Seamonkey's every couple of months and just can't say enough good things about this operation. Bill, Colleen and Jim are simply fabulous! Bill takes care of all your needs on shore, Colleen is a great dive master/guide and Captain Jim just rocks it. Do yourself a favor and skip the cattle boats and dive with Seamonkeys!

We had a great 2 tank dive with Sea monkeys. A nice, small, friendly dive group, a great skipper (Jim) and Coleen (Dive Master) was fantastic. We tried to book another day with her but the weather was an issue. After leaving Islamorada for Key West we even considered driving the 90 minutes to go back again just for a... More

They are located right in the Amara Cay resort. Colleen was our dive master and is simply fabulous. She took time to explain each of the dives, the protocol's, communication signals. All our diving equipment was personally supervised by her and checked out before the dive and at the dive site before actually diving into the water. Once in the... More

As a Divemaster and crewman in NC it's always a special treat to take a break from wreck diving and get on the reef for a while in the upper Keys. In the 20 plus years I've been able to do so, I've never done a 6 pack charter here. Having read the other reviews it was an easy decision... More

A great dive trip! A guide is included at no additional charge, most other shops don't include that. This alone made the trip a great value. We say about everything you could see on the reef to include sea turtles, nurse sharks, rays, etc, etc. Highly recommend.

Really wanted to wreck dive but Bill (owner) advised that we were not able to until we had done a reef dive first with Colleen (his wife). Sadly time was against us so we could only double tank dive the Alligator reef. It's a very shallow dive allowing for 60 minutes of diving with plenty of air to spare. Colleen... More

This fabulous "6 Pack" dive shop is truly one of the best you will ever experience. Bill (the owner) was very helpful. He checked us in, and answered all the questions we had. Colleen (the owner and dive guide with about 10000 dives in her lifetime) was extremely skillfull to located increadible, and amazing marine life during our dives. Our... More

Just got back from diving with Colleen. She is a great guide. She took the time to show us a lot of great sea life. On this particular dive she showed us several turtles, eels and lobsters. She was also kind enough to share her light, while showing us where to look. She was a wonderful dive guide, who takes... More

I had the opportunity to dive with Seamonkey's in June of 2016. We dove 7 dives over 3 days including 1 night dive. Seamonkey's is unique in ways that benefitted us, and will likely upset others. This is really a 3-person operation. There is a dive boat captain who was a nice guy and very helpful, a divemaster who was... More
