Yes, it's a landmark, and provides a nice souvenir of Key West. But the lines can get long waiting for your photo op -- don't be one of those line jumpers or those that ruin the photo op of others by loitering in the back of others shots. Enjoy the visit and take it easy!

This is one of those things you kind of feel like you have to do since you're there...however I would certainly not go out of my way more than 10 minutes to do this. The view is nothing spectacular....the view is MUCH better from some of the resorts nearby. But you can stand in front of the structure and get... More

Everyone should go there once and take a picture. The line for a photo was long but we took pictures without waiting. Not as private but didn't have to wait forever either. Unique to have this there for a memory making event.

When one is from Maine, you simply cannot go to the southern most point of the US without a photo op, right? We stood in a rather long line that was equally fast moving to get our photos taken at this popular spot. We made friends with the family ahead of us and traded cameras for one another. We left... Everyone goes to see the Southernmost Point while visiting Key West! There is almost always a line for pictures, but how can you say you did not go while visiting the area? You can't get any farther south within the USA!

Had to go see this landmark. There was a line to take a picture, but if you walk around the outside and wait in between, you can get a great shot and save a ton of time.

We went to this point twice. Once the line up was long so we passed it and went back the next day. The line up was reasonable (it was like 10am so most people were up) and we waited like 3-5mins. People were really helpful and we took a picture of the couple ahead of us and the family behind... More
