Ernest Hemingway lived and wrote in this for ten years. During that time he wrote seventy percent of his life-time works. Today we operate as a museum providing guided tours every fifteen minutes from nine to five. The Museum is available for weddings and corporate events. Visit this National Historic Landmark, Literary Landmark and recognized by the Library of Congress for it's importance in U.S. History. Grand Architecture, Lush Gardens, Educational Tours, Book Store/Gift Shop and the world famous Poly dactyl (six-toed cats).

I just fell love with the house and its history, such a gorgeous beatiful place. I took the tour, it had so much of good information. Luv, luv and luv the place, i can not wait to go back.

We loved Hemingway:s Home the rare cats many generations The Beautiful landscaped property in the middle of Key West and you can feel the magic that was created just read The Sun always Rises".. a must visit

Take the guided tour - it adds so much more than just wandering around the house. You'll learn things you never knew about Hemmingway and get to see the studio where he wrote.

Loved visiting this house and learning more about Hemingway. Great tour and the cats are a bonus. The grounds of the home are ridiculously charming.

Opt to take the tour - you won't be disappointed. The guides offer fun history of not only the Hemingway house, but offers a taste of the time when the house was occupied by its famous owner.

We sell tickets at our entrance and conduct 30-minute guided tours every 10-15 minutes. We are 9-blocks from cruise ship dock. Much more info available at hemingwayhome web site
