Really great tour. This place is very special for any fan of EH. It's hard to imagine he walked those floors and wrote what he did in such a humble dwelling. I very much enjoyed the history and education.

We learned so much on this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable. We took the tour and walked back in to look at everything we missed. The grounds are beautiful and you can sit and rest outside until your next stop.

This was a real highlight for me. I loved reading the "Old Man and the Sea" as a young person. The house is very interesting, like going back in time. You get to go through the house and grounds and see all of his books. The house is at is was, it hasn't been altered which I really liked. The... More

It was so interesting to learn more about the life of this amazing writer. His 4 wives were all equally amazing too, in their own right. The life of Pauline (second wife) is particularly celebrated on this tour as she and her sons remained here, at the family home, long after EH went to Cuba with wife #3. Two thirds... More

For 14 bucks its worth seeing, especially if you are a Hemingway fan, and how couldn't you be, but it's just like any other house when it comes down to it. The descendants of his his cats are wandering around, you get to see his typewriter, office and other cool items but its likely not a place you would keep... More

We were greeted by Doug our guide and soon to be an Oscar winning movie star! The man had an incredible story to share with us on the life and times of Ernest Hemingway. Doug processed an uncanny knowledge of Pappa and knew every 53 cats on a first name basis! Just a wonderful gentleman and great guide. Thank you... More

Didn't know much about Hemingway before this. I left wanting to know more. Lots of stuff to see in the house. Very interesting.

I really enjoyed my tour of Ernest Hemingway's home. You should bring cash for $14 per person admission payment. Gift shop takes credit cards. They don't do timed tours or timed tickets (but they should). Our tour was a little over crowded. A tour started a few minutes after we arrived. Our tour guide was a great story teller and... More

They let way too many people in at the same time. Hard to see anything. The cats are cute though. Make sure to arrive early
