This street is not only famous during Fantasy Fest around Halloween time but everyday when you visit this Southernmost point of the U.S.A. because it's the main thorough fare there. That's where all the happenings are going on mostly. The best place in the world for people watching for me. Complete with everything under the Florida sun. There are restaurants/eateries,... More

Great spot to visit and I imagine live. Lots of great shops and restaurants. Fun fun fun! Unique culture, eclectic mix of locals, simply a cool and laid back spot.

Ok, so it is a bit tacky, but still colorful and interesting. There are some great restaurants. Most of the bars seem to cater to the undiscriminating party masses (who INSIST on requesting Freebird, UGH!). But, it was still a fun stroll -- people on the street were half the fun. However, I probably would have liked it less had... More

If you want to enjoy the charm and architecture of Key West get off this main drag and explore the side streets. Duval Street has enough bars, restaurants, and souvenir shops that you won't have any problems finding them. You can find everything from tasteful items to T-shirts with vulgarities. It can be crowded and interesting characters appear into the... More

This is an interesting street full of quirky shops and people. Lots of tourists, too but this adds to the holiday atmosphere. Must visit when in Key West

One big attraction of Duval Street is most of the chain operators do not have a retail presence.Instead there are a wide range of individual eclectic shops bars and restaurants. It is worth a visit whilst the buildings are traditional and diverse

The lively main strip in Key West is great for shopping, eating, drinking and just strolling to enjoy the atmosphere and well preserved quaint Keys architecture. The south end has numerous gay bars and cabaret. The north end rowdier around famous Sloppy Joe's and the other bars. Pretty loud at night as many bars have live music (of widely varying... More

Duval Street has just about every kind of store a tourist could want to visit. Small souvenir shops, restaurants, low cost jewelry, high cost jewelry, artist shops, etc. We stopped by one shop that had paintings by Dali, Picasso, Anthony Hopkins (the actor), and Anthony Quinn (the actor), among other fine works or art. Then a couple of doors down... More
