Walking down Duval Street is an experience. The sidewalks are crowded, and the music from the bars is loud. Not our kind of scene, but to each his or her own.

Typical beach town tourist stuff (tee shirts, beach garp shops) art galleries, ice cream shops and many many overpriced restaurants. This is my second time here in 15 years my opinion hasn't changed. What is really neat is getting there on the Overseas Highway now that is impressive.

And did it in one afternoon. We started at Caroline street and went east. Dipping my toe in the ocean we started back. So many tacky tourist shops but look carefully and you'll find one of a kind shops too. Do plan on a slow walk it can get crowded in places and at certain times of the year. I... More

Several blocks of eateries, bars, t-shirt places comprise Duvall, not unlike Sixth St in Austin or Bourbon St in New Orleans. When you've seen one, you've kinda seen them all. By all means, go--it's a Key West "thing".

Walking Duval from one end to the other gives the walker a feast for the eyes, nose and mouth. It's great place to people watch as well as shop in one unusual store after another. Lots of candy and ice cream shops too. If alcohol is the choice, no problem - so many fun and unique bars. So much to... More

You have to experience Duval Street at least once. It is fun, kind of like Bourbon Street in New Orleans. Lots of bars and restaurants and lots to crazy people to watch.

Duval Street is a long stretch of restaurants, bars, shops, and is quite the trip to see. At night it is a hot spot, quite busy, but peaceful and people watching central. It is the main thoroughfare and there are nice places to eat off this main drag. You can't see Key West without spending time on Duval Street.
