The beaches here at the fort are a must do. Truly beautiful. I wish I had worn my bathing suit the day that we were there, I would have been in the water in a heartbeat! The Fort itself was nice, not very big, a...More

I live in St Pete Beach and am used to the beautiful soft white powder sand beaches but you won't find that here. The park itself is very pretty with lots of shade from the pine trees but the water is horrible. Key West does...More

It might be difficult to find, but it’s worth the perseverance. We didn’t have time to look at the fort but wanted to go to the beach and to the most actual southerly point that you can get to. Plenty of car parking spaces just...More

We liked the self guided tour and the vast size of the Park. The age of some of the artifacts is impressive. Great beach area as well. The park was very nice.

Meh... best I can say. Lots of rocks in the water after you walk off the beach into ocean. Chair rental was closed the day I was there because of THREAT of rain.

We rented bikes and cruised over to Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park. You can tour the fort, swim, eat and watch the beautiful sunset. It's relaxing, fun and not too crowded!

We went for the beach, and didn't spend any time at the fort. We went to key west knowing not to expect vast expanses of white sandy beaches. This beach met my expectations in that it was a reasonably scenic place to swim, there were...More

Yes, you can see fish, but not as many as on the snorkeling tours. But for the inexpensive price, there are a good number of fish to be seen.

Sorry, can't help you, but I too enjoyed those lovely trees at Fort Zachery. I'm hoping that lots of places in the Keys come through with out great harm.
