Overview
More
Family owned and operated beach ranch nestled within the Amelia Island State Park, Florida (north of Jacksonville). The Kellys run one of the only full-time licensed outfits offering beach horseback rides in the country. Ranch offers gentle, guided tours starting from the ranch with a short trail ride through the wild maritime hammock, over dunes and then along miles of white pristine beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. This is the perfect place to fulfill that lifetime dream of riding a horse along the ocean. Note: All rides leave directly from the ranch, never from a public parking lot. Can accommodate larger groups.

My wife has always loved horses on the beach so what better way to spend our 25th wedding anniversary than this? The staff is friendly and patient with those of us with little experience and the actual trip is breathtaking. Take cash to tip your...More

You just walk. The entire time. And you have to stay in a line. The. Entire. Time. Not fun at all. The only good thing was that the horses were cute.

Worst experience. They leave the horses saddled all day and tie the horses with bits. That could cause serious issues if the horse set back, causing the horse to tear there mouth up or break there jaw. Unprofessional at the most. They don't know a...More

When people are over-the-top nasty and abusive to our staff, we just have to refuse service. Sorry. We will not tolerate such abuse or dignify it with any response other than to say we certainly do take great care of our horses, and we are...More

No mistake. The pictures in question were uploaded the same day, there were 6 pictures taken of the family of three, among many other photos of them individually. There were no other guests on the tour. It is customary for ranch staff to take group...More

Loved this experience. Beautiful scenery and gorgeous, gentle horses. Beginner friendly. Reservation was easy to make. Helmets optional. No cameras or phones while on the ride. Would've loved to take pics but it was also nice to just be in the moment with no distractions.

The horses were well behaved and the walk on the beach was pleasant, however this company was not customer service minded. They did not allow pictures on the ride to be taken by the riders which made some sense. But after dismounting at the end...More

We did this on a dreary afternoon and it was so relaxing. Horses were super easy to handle but if you have kids they have to be 13 and up to ride.
