What a great place! It's like going to a beach back in the 60's. The beach is laid back with a little park along side. There is an old mini-golf place there and a skate board park. Sandy Bottoms is being renovated right now, but...More

We stopped by the main beach for a few hours and enjoyed the ocean breeze and the shore of seashells. The beach is clean and quiet. There isn't a lot there though, so change beforehand and bring your own food!

Very nice beach! Kid/family friendly. There is a park area right next to the beach that has plenty of shady areas for picnics and such. Plenty of parking.

Wonderful beach,. Fun for the entire family. A must for visitors. We live on the island, close to the ocean and still go there.

Not much parking for this beach, which makes it not crowded. Sand is beautiful and white. There is a place to eat and get drinks near by.

This is the ugliest beach I have ever been to because of the 3 foot pipeline running the whole length of the beach (maybe even the whole island). The pipe is an engineering effort to refurbish the beach and stabilize the area, but it is...More

Watched the sun rise over the Atlantic from this beach. It was beautiful. Found some shells, saw fisherman casting, runners and walkers and families enjoying this wide beach. The beach is wide and the homes and businesses have dunes and sawgrass, so you have dunes...More
