I've been going here for several years, definitely a local treasure. Most visits are to kayak the awesome Loxahatchee River. It is a relaxing paddle where you are transformed into another world. Recently went to see the reenactment of the second Seminole battle with US troops, great event with activities throughout the day. Always something going on, bring the family... More

Jupiter and the north county definable have their share of really good, passive parks. Only in the North county and in Jupiter will you find such natural, old Florida Wild land to enjoy. ADA accessible. well maintained trails. The last time we visited we saw deer, otter, eagles and wild Turkey.

In 1838, two historic military skirmishes between the Seminole and the U. S. Military took place in the park during the Second Seminole War. Visitors are invited to explore the extensive system of self-guided trails and to experience the park's diverse natural resources. Great park with tons of history!

Lots of wide open spaces. Hiking trails and canoeing (rentals available). Check the schedule for battle field tours and re-enactments.

There is a lot do, you can walk or ride your bike along miles of nature trails. You will see birds, ground animals, gatosr and deer... IF riding or walking is not for you they have miles of streams to kayak. or just pick a picnic site.. Remember to pick after your self, this park is super clean.

Bring your own or rent a bike and enjoy miles of hard pack trails. Plenty of shade, a nice farmstead and saw mill complex. Kayak rentals also available.

A group of us just visited last week. We were on a tour of the park looking at the Florida native medicinal plants that grow all over the park.

Great place for a picnic or a bike ride or a canoe trip on the Loxahatchee River. They have walking trails, bikes for rent and canoes and kayaks. In March they have several visiting artist from all over paint in the park as part of an annual local Plein Air Festival.
