Lovely wildlife sanctuary.....it's FREE to enter!

I'll admit that I'm not a zoo type of guy! For me wild animals should be free and not cooped up in a pen! However...... This is not your stereo typical zoo, I believe that all... read more

I'll admit that I'm not a zoo type of guy! For me wild animals should be free and not cooped up in a pen! However...... This is not your stereo typical zoo, I believe that all the animals were either injured or the previous owners had them confiscated. The staff here are knowledgeable and I found them friendly enough. If... More

Lovely display of mostly Florida wildlife. There are bobcats, panthers and black bears in one section off by themselves and lots of birds and eagles, turkeys and hawks in another. They had deer, skunks, opossums and raccoons in another area. The animals all looked contented, well fed and taken care of. It's a nice shady place to walk and view the... More

While visiting Jupiter for a couple of weeks we had one day that started out drizzly and cooler. A local resident @ Starbucks suggested we visit the sanctuary. We drove right there! Very sweet ladies in the welcome area/ gift shop shared the history and philosophy of the BWS and encouraged us to explore! It's free to enter but there... More

We love this wildlife sanctuary, such a good cause and great place to visit. Great that you can donate whatever you want to particular animals. Shame the gift shop staff/volunteers are rude and unfriendly as that's the main source to raise income for the sanctuary.

I have been to Busch Wildlife many times with my children from the time they were in strollers to middle school age. I also have gone with my kindergarten class for the last few years. Each time we go we find a little something new and learn a little more about the animals at the sanctuary and their needs and... More

We visited Busch Wildlife Sanctuary during the morning, soon after they opened. Entry is free, but donations are suggested, and there are donation boxes located in several spots throughout. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable in introducing us to the Sanctuary and the animals there. The tour is self-guided, and you can take a leisurely stroll around the enclosures. There... More

We really enjoyed our visit to the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary - we were there when they were feeding the alligator & crocodile - and enjoyed watching the birds vie for the fish! This really is a great facility - we especially enjoyed the Bobcats and Cougars (Florida Panther). We had just recently seen a wild Bobcat up in Stuart -... More

This place is ran on donations alone! Please support them and donate what you can! Very clean and well kept. Check out the black bears, turkeys, deer, cats and turkeys. They have a small gift shop.

We take our young grandchildren every year when they visit. Smaller than a zoo and animals are easy to see for young children. Daily lecture for children to learn and pet animals. At each animal station there is a donation box so I bring a lot of "ones" for them to put into their favorite animal 's box. Store has... More

This is a donation only Sanctuary which is a great place. Injured animals get rehab here and the place is kept awesome by volunteers and staff. Please DONATE as you enter and then when you leave as it is the best and cheapest place for a day visit in Florida. All ages will enjoy. PLUS, a super worthy cause!
