I'd heard the bird sanctuary was nice to visit and we weren't disappointed. So many beautiful injured birds find sanctuary here. It's nice to know the staff care about their birds. It was a perfect opportunity to see birds you might not otherwise see in the wild. Most were in outside enclosed areas, protected by overhead wire mesh. There were... More

Had a great time and saw lots of different types of birds. The staff was more than friendly and assisted us with our every need. We were very pleased with the whole visit and would recommend the sanctuary to anyone.

We had a little time to kill so someone recommended we visit the seabird sanctuary. My daughter's loved being able to see all the birds (ranging from barn owls to blue jays to pelicans). We also walked onto the beach and were able to see lots of seabirds with their babies. They have an educational video you can watch. It... More

We were so excited to visit this place. It's nice that the seabirds have somewhere to go but the disgusting smell is overbearing. I wish it was cleaned up.

It was free and educational. The kids like it and it was neat to see the birds up close. It is small but had a cool back story.

This is a nice place to see several different types of birds for free. (I LOVE free attractions) There seems to be conflicting comments/articles/information about whether or not this place is kind to it's animals, so you'll have to make that judgement call for yourself. Also worth noting that this place is located directly on the beach and has free... More

It's great that this place exists. The huge hearts of those who take in and help these sea birds are nothing short of amazing. There are some birds here who are beyond help and will, unfortunately, spend the remainder of their days here. But, at least they are cared for. No cost of admission, just donations, which everyone should give!

This is a great little sanctuary. There are many enclosures of birds that are being treated for various injuries and many birds just flying and wandering around the sanctuary. It's a great thing these people are doing to help these birds when otherwise they would have no help. You don't need to pay to get in but they do take... More

We have been to the bird sanctuary since first visiting the US in 95. What a fantastic place with so much love and attention for the seabirds of Florida. We have saved a couple of birds that have been in trouble and walked them into the sanctuary and they have just taken the birds of us and given them the... More
