Small sanctuary for injured beach birds, it a small attraction where your donations go a loooong way! On Indian rocks beach, adds to something else to do while soaking the sun! Check them out!

I stumbled upon this place and being into dog rescue, I went on in and saw the numerous birds who were rescued or in rehab. Very nice people helping wounded birds. What's not to like?

If you have a little time to fill and are in the area - I would highly recommend stopping by. There are tons of birds that are being rehabilitated or cared for - and you can see all of them! The facility could use a...More

The people keeping this place going are doing a great job with little to no resources. I went with summer bridge classes and the students loved seeing the birds they learned about at school as well as being introduced to new birds on our trip....More

We have lived next to this "attraction" for 30 years. They actually did rehab birds in the beginning but now they have volunteers to feed whatever is there and I wonder where all the donations end up? Years ago there was a doctor and surgeon...More

Great place to educate your kids as well as yourself. This is a rescue operation for birds in the area usually damaged by our human presence in their environment. This place does a great job caring for these animals and need our help.

This facility and the staff have their hearts in the right place - rescuing marine birds and rehabilitating them. But the place is run down. They are making some improvements though. The voluntary donation doesn't generate enough funds for significant repairs. But requiring an entrance...More

This is a wonderful center that helps rescue birds. I had no idea that there were so many different species of birds in this area. My favorite were the white pelicans, much larger than I expected to see. They also have owls and vultures. No...More

Would be a bit of a long walk. Take the trolley that runs all day long, or nice long walk on the beach. Easy access from the beach. Well worth the visit!
