Be prepared, this is not the place for a casual walk. There will be bugs, and the hiking paths are not that well defined, so bring a GPS if you are the type of person who gets turned around easily.

We had the opportunity to take a swamp buggy tour of the preserve. Interesting attraction. Unfortunately the wildlife was scarce. Some birds. No deer, bear or cats. This is an opportunity you don't often get.
