As I peruse the 100+ reviews one becomes amused with all the polite code words like "eclectic", "funky", "inclusive", "a mini Key West", and so on. Known this community for five decades -- NOT a place where you let children out to play alone. Each restaurant is "code" for a chosen lifestyle. The tourists will flock to Pia, La Cote,... More
This is a great place to spend a day! Great little boutiques.. tons of restaurants and bars.. everyone we came across was so friendly! It has the most adorable old homes in-between all the shops and restaurants.. it is also one of the most dog friendly places I have visited..
We stayed 2 blocks from Beach Boulevard and it was great being able to walk there every day of our vacation! There are awesome restaurants from outdoor cafes to fine dining and funky shops and art galleries to shop & look around! There are awesome trees and plantings and the trees are lit up along the boulevard after dark. It's... More
Beach Boulevard houses a multitude of shops, galleries and restaurants. It's a very happening place in Gulfport, be it for a Sunday brunch, an art fair, early dinner or finding that perfect present in one of the shops.
Strolled around after brunch at Stella's. This was our first time in Gulfport. We walked past the pier, beach, volleyball nets and around the homes. Lots of open air eating and drinking spots. Musicians playing for Sunday brunch diners at various venues. Cute shops, friendly people, overall a nice late morning, early afternoon experience. Including brunch and the walking, it... More
Beach Boulevard has many restaurant types to choose from: Seafood, bar food, a French / Basque place, etc. Some art galleries with odd hours. Some funky shops. A packed antique store. Nice for walking around, browsing, getting a bite to eat.
We've been visiting this quaint little town for years and have finally found a cottage to rent for 2 months in 2018. We love the artsy atmosphere and the wonderful little restaurants. A walk thru Clam Bayou is a must for some peace and serenity and pretty water views, also. Just stop by and visit...you will fall in love with... More
This specific review is just for the sunset value. This beach is a great little spot to hang out and get some outdoor fun in. There are great views in every direction and it is always clean and usually 9 out of 10 times, has less than a dozen people scattered throughout the beach. With all that being said, it... More
