I’ve visited many times. We really enjoy the festivals. We had a great family photo taken there. Interesting bamboo and palms. I wish it was better funded so it had more plants. Very nice building and gift shop.

Walking through and seeing so much variety in plants was a great morning walk. It's obvious that so much has been put into the gardens, I truly appreciate the time and attention, since I have a black thumb vs. the green thumb. Gorgeous.

My mother and I have visited Kanapaha twice this year. Once in February and again in July. It is always beautiful & well-maintained. We especially like the bamboo section. We highly recommend visiting!

...then visit here. Admission is $8/person and exploring all of the meandering paths takes longer than you might expect. We enjoyed our visit.

Yes, on a leash. We take our dog each time we go. We always take a bag in case she poops, and we watch for alligators near the water. It is a great place to walk dogs!

As others have said, it does have a minimal entrance fee that I felt was well worth it If you're into photography, especially macro photography, this place is a gold mine
