We take our youth from Church every summer to the springs. If you want to go from the top, get there early. They only let 750 people per day in at the top, but no worries there is plenty to do at the middle. Rent...More

I'm not sure of the correct pronunciation of this scenic state park. I'm guessing it's an old Seminole word meaning check this place out. We followed hwy 27 SE a short drive from Branford to the first sign for the north entrance. I should have...More

Best time to go !!!! At this time of year there is literally no one around, the only down fall the water is cold but a wet suit will help. The Park has trails to hike, and the parking is Free.

Fall/ winter is the best time to go. I brought my own kayak and went down the river. Saw lots of wild life and the water is clear.

Very easy. Get a sit on. The current will take you. It takes about two hours. It's really pretty. You can rent kayaks at the park and they will pick you up and take you back to your car.
