Rent kayaks at Paddling Adventures, and be sure to bring your snorkeling gear. The Ichetucknee is a delight to kayak and snorkel, with the water temp a perfect 72-74F year round. Paddle over bright turquoise pools of fresh spring water bubbling up, hop out and snorkel in the clearest water imaginable. When the kayak run is done, head over to... More

So much fun. Water crystal clear. It's cool in a hot day. 72 year round feels like 62 but worth it!I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to take the family or going on a date! Bring or rent a tube.

We visited in April before the summer rush. It was our first time here, and we were pleasantly surprised. We stopped at Lowe's on the way into the park, and they did a great job of securing the double tube onto our loaded down suv (tied it on top of the kayak). We walked to the put-in instead of using... We came here years ago with grandkids, tubed the slow-flowing clear river and swam in the crystal clear blue springs waters. Stopped today for a picnic and a dip. Just as pretty as we'd remembered. North entrance parking is only a short walk to the small shallow springs area (a natural pool, not a man-made one - one end shallow,... More

We had a wonderful time on our trip to Itchetucknee Springs. We visited the first week of April! The weather was amazing highs in the upper 70's and sunny skies! We traveled with 4 adults and 2 Children. We paid an "honor system" Admission of $5.00 I believe and got our parking pass! We all had our own Kayaks so... More

This is a beautiful place! I went to the North entrance, and just ended up walking the trails, hanging out, and swimming in the springs. The springs are quite chilly, so it's great for a hot day. I didn't think the walk was bad to the Blue Hole Spring (it's about a 1/3 - 1/2 mile on a mostly flat,... More

I took my husband and my daughter for their first trip down the river. My husband's swore he could hear banjos and my four-year-old daughter was a little scared. But by the time our trip down the river in bed, everyone was having a great time. We saw lots of fish, birds and turtles. The water was amazing. We will... More

My sister and I wanted to do a paddle along a clear river and the Itchetucknee was recommended by a friend of hers--we thank her--it is incredible. The park is undergoing some renovation, so please pardon the inconvenience around Blue Hole--it does not prevent enjoyment of the rest of the park. Our main goal was a paddle so we reserved... More

Ahh! The views are amazing here! They have two swimming holes and a lazy river. One was a lot easier to access, the other one had a little bit more of a walk and unless you got in, looked black, my wife refused to go in because it looked too natural lol. The river also was a blast, I recommend... More

This is one of those must visit places in Florida. If you tube or kayak, you want to visit in the middle of the week due to the large crowds on the weekends. We did not see more than 30 people on the river during the weekday. On the weekend, the park reaches capacity by 9am. We used Paddling Adventures... More
