All our visitors have enjoyed going to these these wonderful planes. They sit outside so visitors can go right up to all of them and get a very close view and a great idea of their size. This is a special treat for children of any age & also for veterans who may have flown any particular plane from WWII... More

This place is very educational and has a good variety of planes on display. Each plane has a placard that tells the history of that particular plane as well as the history of it's type. The inside is similar - we spent about 1.5 hours there to cover the outside and inside together. It was very educational. Loved it!

A little ways off the beaten path, but so worth it! This is a FREE museum, (donations are appreciated) with an indoor and outdoor self guided walking tour. Really cool artifacts from previous wars, and actual bombers, and fighter jets etc on display! Too cool even for non history buffs like myself.

Didn't expect much but the planes on the outside (free) was worth the drive and time. Dozen's of planes and helicopters. They even have the Blackbird spy plane and the F80's of the Korean war out where you can walk right up and touch them. Didn't have time to go inside that day so went back. It is very interesting... We were really excited to take our daughter to the museum. She is an avid aviator and loves aircrafts. Arrived and loves all the displays of the outdoor aircraft. My husband especially enjoyed the "A10 Warthog" and our daughter the "F-14". In her words she going to fly a fighter jet when she grows up. We were disappointed in the... More

Lovers of all things military will love this museum, chock full of every kind of weapon that our Air Force has used from the days of the Wright Brothers until today. The gun collection includes everything from flintlocks to massive multi-barreled cannons, there are multitudes of missiles, bunches of bombs, and historic aircraft both inside and outside, including the legendary... Most travelers to the area will have no idea that the Emerald Coast is home to the largest test range in the continental United States. The AFAM pays homage to the work done at Eglin AFB just up the road. The focus in on the work that the Air Force Air Armament center has done developing and testing weapons but... More
