I have been visiting the Gulfarium since I was a little girl. I am very picky about zoos or other animal places that I visit as I only feel comfortable visiting places where I feel like the animals have a good life. The Gulfarium is one of the places I feel ok about visiting. In one of the areas, there... More

Not sure why this attraction does not excel. Great location, good shows, all female staff with ponytails... I guess it is the size and age of the facility. The emphasis seems to be on animal encounters that cost extra from the already steep admission cost. You need to budget your time around the shows, because once you have seen all... More

The Gulfarium is a small aquarium. I was not impressed but that is no surprise as I spent seven years as a volunteer docent at the Georgia Aquarium until I relocated to middle Georgia four years ago. I note that many of the exhibits had unclear water and much algae. They need maintenance. There were no staff or volunteers to... More

We found this to be a relaxing entertaining eventful place for us because we love animals. Even learned a great deal about the personalities of those there. Great for families also.

I have been get before my husband had not. Its a cute little place and I lime to support the local animals. The sea lion show was the cutest. The dolphin show was nice and informative the in bad thing is the sea lion and seal glasses were dirty and hard to see through

The Gulfarium has been on Okaloosa Island since the 1950s, showing people the beauty of the sea and its animals. I've been there several times over the years and while it is quite a bit smaller than Sea World and the like, it is still worth visiting if you are passing through. Our family signed up for the Dolphin Encounter,... More

If you or your kids love dolphins or sea lions, this place is for you. The Sea Lion show is endearing and adorable while being informative and exciting. The Dolphin show is also informative and entertaining. I especially liked seeing the younger animals show their skills as the more experienced animals ran through the shows.

The park is small but my family loved how close the encounters were with the animals. Animals seemed well taken care of there.

We were very disappointed with this place. It is a very small park with barely enough room to accommodate everyone visiting. They did not offer much in the way of shows with the animals. Not worth the price you pay to get in. We will be sticking with Gulf World from now on.

This aquatic "zoo" of sorts has multiple habitats for marine life. It is a self guided park. There is plenty of shade. We went during the off season but see how it could be easily become very overcrowded during peak tourist season. There is a small café with snacks, drinks, and sandwiches. The dolphin and sea lion shows are very... More
