The Temple Mound and Museum is really four museums for the price of one (and just $5 per person for all of it). The Native American exhibits are awesome...the schoolhouse with guide Bruce is complete with desks, bonnets and old timey hats for picture taking...More

The museum is small but well done and informative. As well as the Native American exhibit there was a display on pirates. The $5 entrance fee also gives access to the small schoolhouse, post office and civil war museums. 90 minutes well spent.

They have limited hours, so make sure you check in advance. Information is located in several areas around the park. Park around the back, in front it's hard to get out in the traffic.

We arrived before they opened but could still walk around to see the small mound and school house. Nice historic area for Fort Walton. There is a small parking area on one side and a larger one on the other side.

Museum was interesting, School house and buildings were very interesting also esp. the lady in the school house with loads of info. The mound was a little disappointing.

this is a small museum which houses some very early artifacts from the mound which was dug in the 1960's. the amazing pottery designs done by the tribes was worth the price to me...so artistic. this is a perfect stop for a rainy day.

Yes! I believe it's $5.80 for adults, kids are free I think. They have a website, if you search them on google it should pop up :)
