Fascinating Tour!
Nov 2021 • Family
We took the tram tour and our guide was terrific - interesting visit for both us and the kids. Saw manatee & porpoises. Beautiful, relaxing and educational way to spend a couple hours.

Interesting

Didnt know what to expect. They give an informative little tour. Nice diversion during the hottest part of the day. Fish tanks, aquatic skeletons, deep water drones, and research for repopulating the Indian river lagoons various species. Also a little gift shop if your into that.

The ocean is interesting

But, the research is more interesting. We didn't get to see the last of the tour because it was raining outside. Other than that it was a very friendly place. Tour guide didn't ask if we had any questions, if we could have asked questions I would probably been there longer.

Wonderful Find
Jul 2019 • Friends
My mom and i stayed in Vero for a few days. We decided to head a little more south. We found this by accident. What a great place. Small but very interesting and informative. The displays are so well done but what makes it are the tour guides. Ours was a young man working on his masters. He was interesting, articulate and very helpful with our questions. I cant recommend highly enough. It would be great for kids also. Oh and its free. They do have a donation box.

Exciting thoughtful displays of the research focus of the institute
Jul 2019 • Couples
We had a personal guide take us through the overview (very professional and well done). She then gave us a tour of all 6 areas of focus for their research. She was very enthusiastic and highlighted each areas impact to the waters but also the benefits to us humans.

The welcome center is good for all ages and levels of understanding.

A huge bonus for the whole Treasure Coast.
