Had a great day on the water! These guys delivered and made sure we understood all the rules and we follow them and they hooked us up with a great boat and great Memorial Day! Thanks a lot Marty and crew. We’ll be back, and those bad reviews were people who probably didn’t follow the rules lol!

Made a reservation with Colleen last week for a full day rental (8 hour) on August 2. We reserved their 22’ pontoon boat with a 40 HP Mercury engine. As promised, she was waiting for us at 7:30 AM with the paperwork at the South Causeway Marina. She gave us a quick tutorial on the boat, navigation charts for the river and we were on our way by 8:00 AM. Colleen not only helped us load the boat, but greeted us at our return and helped us unload. We did a quick check of the boat, all looked good and Colleen immediately credited my $500 deposit to my credit card. All through the entire process Colleen was a pro. She demonstrated wonderful customer care with every call and interaction. We enjoyed our time so much we reserved for the following Thursday, August 9 for a ½ day rental. As we enjoyed our second day on the water, my wife and I didn’t want to come in. Colleen already told us that if we wanted to stay out it would be $25/hour for every extra hour. The weather, water conditions were perfect and the fish were biting just enough, so we stayed out until 4:00 PM. Again, Colleen met us at the dock with a smile and I am happy to say that we are still smiling about how well our two boat rentals went. Thank you to Colleen and Treasure Coast Boat Rentals! Keep the boats running, we will be back.

P.S. The sites, scenes and sea life in the Indian River are truly wonderful. We saw so much; several dolphin/porpoise, 2 very large sting ray, 2 full size sea turtles, fish jumping and feeding most everywhere. While fishing I spotted two 6-8 foot shark near Bear Point and Bear Cove on the grass flats about 250 yards from shore. During our two trips I used a combination of live shrimp and various artificial lures and caught 8 fish; 2 Lady fish, 3 Cat fish, a Mutton Snapper, one good size Sheepshead and a feisty 2 pound Blue Fish that gave me a nice little fight.

Amazing service, great boat, excellent day on the water. We were pleased with every aspect of our journey and were even treated to a pod of dolphins playing by the boat. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a leisurely day on the water.

These people are real scumbags!! Last June I rented a boat from this place and they wanted a 500 dollar security deposit on top of the 400+ for the rental. To make a long story short I took the boat to the mouth of the inlet in ft pierce on the flattest day when the water was crystal blue. and at the end of the day they refused to give my security deposit back because they said I went out of there area? I mean what kind of noise is that? I thought a security deposit was for Incase of damages? Guess not with these scumbag scammers. The only reason they have any good reviews is because they had to get family and friends to help them out or paid people off. Don’t believe anything these scammers say you will be left disappointed

Dear Mr Matt J., I am trying to understand why you would wait exactly 1 year and 3 days after you rented on June 29, 2017, IF, in fact, we are "Real Scumbags" as you profess. Seeing it has been year and you've had a memory lapse of how that afternoon played out, let me refresh your memory. I surely wouldn't want to disappoint you or any readers as you seem to think the events of that day were fictional. When you signed the rental agreeement, rules and regulations with the navigational limitations you agreed to the restriction that BOATS are not allowed in the OCEAN or JETTY past RED Buoy 10 on the Fort Pierce Inlet. You were also told several times that you were not allowed in the OCEAN and you assured us you would not go out. So when the GPS tracked you going into the OCEAN to the North Side of Jetty along the beach it was much to my disappointment that you clearly had every intent to go out in the OCEAN. When I called you to return the boat to the dock immediately as you had been offshore, you told me you didn't go out and were at the cove, then said you did go to the rocks. When I called again 24 min later as you were not moving, you said you were trying to get your cousin out of the water. I could see you on the Fort Pierce Inlet Web Cam and they were still swimming and diving. I called 27 mins later and you were stopped again this time at the South Beach Causeway Ramp dropping off cousin & spear guns, got his cooler, filled it and left in his Expedition. When you finally returned to the dock you apologized, blamed your cousin and called him an #hole. Next, let's clear up what you spent that day. Your half day rental was $239.63, the gas/service fee was $68.25, so you didn't spend 400+ for the rental. The security deposit of $500 of which you forfeited pursuant to the rental agreement and navigational limits that you signed for and stated you would not go out in the OCEAN. Furthermore, let's make this long story, accurate. It is irrevelant if it was the flattest day and the water was crystal blue, you clearly gave no regard to the navigational rules set forth by our insurance company, you straight out lied and have no respect for other people's property and livelihood. You then called looking for your security deposit on 7/12/17, when explained again you forfeited it based on your actions, you then used foul language and threatened that I would be hearing from your lawyer. When I said have your lawyer contact me I will send all the proof documents along with the GPS, you said "$#% you guys" and hung up. I didn't hear from your lawyer but you did dispute the $500 security deposit on 7/20/17 so I sent all the documents with the GPS to the credit card company. You state "the only reason we have any good reviews is because they had to get family and friends to help out or paid people off." You were just getting your learner's permit when we started this business. So to bring you some clarity, youngman, look up what "Libel" means in the State of Florida. Cordially, The Scumbag Scam Artist

The owners were fantastic....knowing that we knew boats, they didn't waste time with unecessary instruction, but took the time to ask us what we wanted to see, and went over the charts with us, got the paperwork done, and we were on our way in minutes. Beautiful clean boat, even had a built in AM/FM with an iPhone jack with nice speakers. Lots of beautiful little islands along the river going north, some with picnic tables in the shade. Drop-off took just a couple of minutes, with thanks and smiles as we left. Thanx for a great afternoon !

We have rented from Treasure Coast a couple of times now. The Owner and their Staff have always been extremely friendly and informative as to places to go visit while using their rentals. They have been very clean and in good condition, no problems whatsoever. We were able to see all of the wonderful wildlife. There were so many dolphins, they are so amazing to watch. Great Family Fun Day, loved it! We will definitely use their services in the future.

I was reading reviews about poor attitudes, short with people, worst tackle shop, and rude and cold with people.I do not agree with alot of reviews but I must agree with these reviews,I rented a boat with my children, and they do not want to answer questions, they rather watch TV, the TV was playing loud and had to talk over it .
Boat was OK,the help outside treat you alot better than the owners inside!

Dear Arrowhead, Thank you for your review, looking at your reviews it appears you’re a TripAdvisor regular! We always appreciate feedback so that we can do better. I am not completely sure how to respond to your reference as to not wanting to answer questions, we would rather watch TV. If you rented a boat from us, I personally would have gone over the rental agreement, your payment and the local Intracoastal waterway chart including detailed instructions where to enjoy swimming, picnicking, sightseeing and/or fishing depending on your plans for the day. This is part of every rental so that our customers can enjoy their day out on the water here in Fort Pierce. I have been known to multitask a time or two, but this I have to say cannot be done watching TV. We would be happy to discuss this further as to be able understand your review. Please contact us at 877-40-boats. Sincerely Treasure Coast Boat Rentals
