This is a nice little park by the spillway with access for canoes. A trail winds through the trees along the bank. Nice canoe trip. Could not go terribly far as the water lilies had it chocked. Nice afternoon paddle though.

very pretty and senic. Pets are allowed, the trail is pretty and just down the road it dead ends to more hiking trails. There is a disc trail? Sort of like golf. Beautiful and scenic with a pretty lake and public bathrooms.

We went to Ten Mile Creek Preserve on Valentine's Day thinking that it would be deserted. We were wrong! It was quite busy. Some people were just hanging out, others were getting their kayaks out. A nice park with picnic tables. Odd that there were...More

Nice short nature walk. No bathroom facilities, but you can walk through it in under 30 minutes. Very peaceful, and the available brochure is a must have to explain some of the characteristics seen on the walk.

All there is out there is a mosquito infested path through some woods next to a creek full of alligators and snakes. I SURE wouldn't take a family out there.

Great little spot for kayaking, always see several gators (both In and out of the water) in the warmer months. Many birds as well, with a bird rookery on the right fork of the river near the beginning. Start by paddling upstream (which can be...More

Hi, I'm looking for a place to launch a kayak as far north as possible on the 10 mile creek, then go south to Jensen Beach. Is it possible to launch on the south side of the spillway? If not, any other suggestions? I was thinking maybe 5 mile creek by the mall, but I have not been there to scope it out.
