I could almost copy-and-paste another reviewer's review about this "tour," because it really was pretty much a "pontoon boat ride, nothing more." That was my sentiment before I even read any other reviews, and what I was planning to write. It was such a disappointment. I had to ask the Captain (aka tour guide) about what we were seeing, and... Decided at the last minute to take a dolphin cruise out of Fort Pierce while we were visiting. I checked Trip Advisor and found Indian River Lagoon tours, the reviews were spot on. All four of us really enjoyed ourselves and the Captain found several dolphins as well as a pod of Manatees. Our friends even plan on coming back... More

The woman selling tickets made it sound like it was going to be a fun and informative ride- I have had more fun at a funeral. The "crew" was extremely unenthusiastic. We did spot some dolphins, a manatee and a few river otters. The captain gave minimal information and that could hardly be understood over the poor sound system. If... More

The trip was great, we saw dolphins and learned many things along the way about Florida. Despite what other people have reviewed, have to to be open to experience and gather the surroundings. We actually stayed out longer then expected which made it more fun. Ask questions along the way, don't be shy! Overall it was nice to take pictures... More

No not waste your money unless you have never seen a dolphin or Manatee. No welcome or thanks. I sure the tip box suffered. A nice day but a very dirty boat. It could be a great tour but the owners or management needs to examine the way they do business. I suspect if we come back next year they... More

We were disappointed with this tour. I must say they did find dolphins for us to see, but they were very active and easy to spot. The team did not say much about the area we were in, a small amount on the environment. The sound system was bad so when they did speak , it was hard to understand.... More

Well, from the very beginning when buying the tickets, the captain/owner of the business was EXTREMELY rude, he barely acknowledged us. He was not helpful at all when we asked questions on where the boat tour started. Then on the boat, at first it was going well, even though when the captain spoke into the intercom/microphone/loud speaker thing, he mumbled... More

I should have read the negative reviews before we went on this boat tour. They said it all. The captain was not friendly at all, never introduced himself, welcomed the paying customers or gave a safety speech. Hardly said a thing. And when he did it was very hard to understand him. He was late leaving the marina, just drove... More

The men running the show knew about the history of the area, the animals, and the environment. Very knowledgeable. Felt safe and secure under their care, and had a lot of laughs. Saw a few dolphins--no manatees today, but they have been seen in the past week. Also seen full grown bull sharks this past week in the area. Lots... More

We took the tour on a windy January afternoon. The Captain knows where to find dolphins and manatees, when they are in the estuary. He knows his birds. Birders will like this tour. We explored mangrove trees at water edge of islands. We saw an iguana about to prey on shorebird nests. It is true that the Captain does not... More
