Visited the park on a Monday. Very peaceful and quiet. Walked around the strip of beach which had very soft sand and enjoyed the Atlantic.

I was by myself and just walked up and down the sand and then just walked up and down the jetty enjoying the sunshine and the breeze.

This was such a nice morning walk. The day was beautiful and walking and sitting out on the Inlet was perfect.

From the moment you pull up to the friendly gate guard, you are in for a great day! Large, clean and spacious restrooms, nice covered picnic tables, a play ground for children, and a lovely beach - it makes for a perfect day!

Situated in a great location spanning the beach and intracoastal inlet. Highlights are the beach and water though there are decent short trails too.

Spent the whole afternoon at the park. Started with lunch and ended with a perfect outside dinner. Watched the boats and two manatees by the jetty.

Swimming across the Inlet is incredibly dangerous and illegal! You aren't even supposed to do that on a paddleboard. There are many beautiful places to swim so there is no reason to try to swim across the Inlet.

Snorkeling is not advised along the jetty and the inlet. Very strong currents, fishermen, and windsurfers. Try the Inlet State Park... across the causeway to the mainland and back over the next causeway.

Pets are not allowed on any of the beach/sandy areas. They must be confined to the picnic areas (grassy) only. That is why I could not completely review the park as I had my dog with me and could not visit the beach area.
