Locals in the know are aware of the awesome facilities and terrific staff that makeup Bay Oaks Recreational Center, but not many visitors know about this gem. Many of the facilities have been covered in other revues. I'd like to highlight a few of my husband and my favorites. While I've enjoyed the water aerobics classes on M-W-F mornings, my... More

As a single parent raising a child on Ft. Myers Beach, Bay Oaks Recreation Center proved to be invaluable. It is the hub of family activity for the community.

The town of Fort Myers Beach, located on a barrier island on the Gulf of Mexico in Southwest Florida, has an area of around 6 square miles. The population of more than 6,000 people increases during the warm, balmy winter months and decreases during the hot, humid, hurricane-prone summer months. Our small island has a feature that a bigger metropolis... More

A place to have fun for all ages! Young and old it doesn't matter. My grandson has had the pleasure of growing up at Bay Oaks. I enjoy seeing new friends and old there. The staff is wonderful!!! I look forward to Fright Night with everyone!

We have been seasonal residents for several years. Visitors are amazed when we take them to the pool. It is safe, clean and loads of fun for all ages, with a kiddie splash area for toddlers and a slide for bigger kids. Nice shower/changing rooms, tables and umbrellas. Bring some snacks and bring the whole family. Plenty of free parking... More

Without Bay Oaks the kids on the beach would have no place to go while parents work or just to hang out with friends. All kinds of activities from swimming to social activities to sports (including tennis and disc golf) give a plethora of activities to chose from for all ages including adults.

Beautiful pool with a water slide for older children and adults. There is a kiddie pool 1-2 ft deep with water falls, spouts and fun things to occupy the little ones.
