Waverunner Fun

Brought our waverunners and found Lover Key State Park to launch. Spent the day sightseeing by water. Easy access and plenty of parking.

Lovers Key State Park is a must do for anyone visiting the area. Don't miss the small viewing area to the right before driving through the entrance gate - we've seen manatee here, up close and personal. Take the tram ride to the beach (free).

While visiting Naples, we checked out Lovers Key State Park. It was a Windy Day but the sandy beach was spectacular. It seemed as if the beach went on forever. My only criticism was the jitney ride from the parking lot. If you had never visited the park, you really don't know how long of a walk it is to... More

We rented a pontoon boat and beached it on Lover's Key to walk the beach. It's a beautiful place with plenty of shells. It's a great place to walk and get a good view. We saw a number of couples and families strolling the beach. It's a very relaxing place to visit.

Lovers Key has beautiful beaches and also trails through the mangroves where you might see an alligator or some spectacular bird life. It's close to the town of Ft. Myers Beach but it is on a secluded stretch. It's a good place to spend an entire day.

We biked over to the park from Fort Myers Beach-biking down the beach was smooth sailing until the last mile when you are forced to ride in the water or in the mangroves. **tip cut over to the road at this point. Also, crossing the bridge on bikes was a religious experience as there is little room. The park itself... More

This was probably our favorite place we visited. Well worth the $8 parking fee. The beach is full of shells and not as crowded as other beaches. And there is a lot to beyond the beach. Hike, bike or walk the trails. We rented a kayak and kayaked out to the bay and watched a dolphin play! When you are... More

Great beaches for fishing and relaxing. Nice trails for walking and running. All around one of the best places for recreation in the area.

Most beautiful beaches, nice and quiet, limited facilities, free parking just pay the entrance fee (honor system. Great for long beach walks or nature trails.

One of my favorite places to visit in Florida. This is a state park, costs less than 10 dollars a carload to visit and worth every penny. Amazing endless Sandy white beaches. Dolphin viewing from the beach. ..lots of birds and wildlife. A Florida must see.
