    Beautiful Beach
Clean beach and good for shelling. Went on the weekend and during the week. To avoid being "crowded" by other people you need to walk down the beach and set up your space, other wise people will set up there space on top of you. Saw dolphins one day. I had a beach tent...you need some shade. Everything was good. A little disappointed their chaise rentals are picked up at 4.p.m. Tram was convenient.

    We loved Lovers Key
For my Christmas gift, my husband said we would take a vacation in a warmer climate. After much research, we realized that we would need to go to Fort Myers or south to have “swimming weather”. Since we wanted to avoid any Spring break crowds, we started looking at southern Fort Myers Beach. I didn’t realize how much Hurricane Ian had impacted hotels and condos. I happened onto Lovers Key Resort with Lovers Key State Park right across the road. The resort was wonderful, and we really enjoyed spending time on the beautiful white sand beach at the park. The beach is long enough that you don’t feel crowded. Not all amenities are open as they reconstruct the area. But I highly recommend this area..

    Perfect Southwest Florida Beach
Really beautiful beach with lots of room to spread out even on the busiest days. The tram is a really awesome private service that is free of charge and the company that runs it also has other activities available for rent. Parking was pretty far from the tram since we had to park in overflow. Get here before 9am to avoid the crowds and get good parking. Would definitely come back to this state Park in the future.

We only went to the south beach, but this is a huge park with trails and fishing. Vacationing with my husband we drove in ($8 to park). The park has a gift shop and bathrooms by the lot. A tram operates to bring visitors from the parking lot to the beach and back again. Where the tram stops wheelchairs that can roll into the water are available for those who need them. It was easy to rent 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella on the beach, but bring your own water, refreshments, etc

I was expecting more. Long haul to the beach area even with using the tram. There was nothing special on the beach. No restrooms, no concessions, not even a fun “Lover’s Key” sign for photo taking. It was okay, but nothing spectacular.

Beach was beautiful. Nice tram from parking area to Beach. Visitor Center is really nice and a few picnic tables is shade. Check with visiting hours on center. Not always open. Hiking trails are well marked.

This is a gorgeous beach. There are many shell seekers. I was one. A kind lady showed me how to find sand dollars and she made my day.

Beauitful. Impressed by the shuttle to the beach, clean restrooms and handicap accessibility. Wish we would have done a kayak experience. A hidden gem not to be missed!
