This is a pretty drive between around Colonial and Downtown Fort Myers. Especially nice for the 2 miles or so south of the Edison & Ford Winter Estates. Be prepared for a leisurely drive. It's two lanes, so traffic can back up a bit, so just roll down the windows, breathe in the warm air, turn off the radio and... More

Nice boulevard especially at the northern end where there are some large beautiful houses, but not worth going far out of your way to travel down it. We ended up going down the boulevard a few times as we stayed in Cape Coral & it's the main road to the Sanlbel area.

If you are visiting Ft. Myers, City of Palms, you have to drive down McGregor Boulevard. Take a slow drive and stop by the Edison Museum. Even if you don't go in the museum, walk through the gardens. They are as nice as any arboretum. The museum is a little pricey, but worth the cost of entrance. My granddaughters (12)... More

We actually would take this drive a couple times each week from Jan-April and loved it every time we drove down it. The palms are stately and beautiful!!!

One hundred years later, the road is still lined with royal palms and is one of the... More

The drive along McGregor Blvd. is the perfect welcome to one of our favorite weekend retreats, Sanibel Island. The magnificent palm trees lining both sides of the road are always a beautiful sight!

Stayed in north fort Myers and needed to travel out to the beachs each day. McGregor blvd is the way to go. First it's just a must drive down at least once road. Second it's a faster less stressful drive that gets you almost all the way to the beachs. Very few stops once you are on it. No four... More

We take this road a number of times from the Cape Coral bridge to downtown Ft Meyers for the Art nite or Music night. Waze took us around a shorter way.

Take your time to enjoy the very old Palm trees for miles along McGregor Blvd. The homes on the river are stunning
