First Timers are amazed at miles of Royal Palms planted along both sides of the boulevard. Many take this parallel road to 41 just for the view. You'll also find some great Restaurants and the Famous Ford/Edison homes to visit as we'll.

I walk up and down McGregor Blvd most mornings and enjoy the trip more each time. From the Edison/Ford Winter Estates to the Edison inspired palm tree lined boulevard and the historic homes along the way, it is a beautiful stretch of highway.

This drive takes you from historical Ft. Myers to Sanibel/Captiva Islands & is comparable to drives in Los Angeles area, except with a distinct South Florida feel.

Love driving down this boulevard lined on both sided by majestic palms. There are beautiful older homes and gardens all by the river. Also, a nice spot for an evening stroll.

It was fun to drive through and see all the old homes on our way to the Riverfront District. We enjoyed the ride.

On our way to the river district, we took McGregor Blvd and were so happy that we did. The palm trees that line the street are amazing. We've never seen a street that had this many palm trees for such a little no stretch. And...More
