An avenue of Palms, very nice to see, especially during the Holidays when they are lighted up near the Edison and Ford Estates, Well worth the time to see.

We drove on McGregor Blvd a few times during our trips into Ft. Myers. The tree lined road is amazing seeing that most of these trees have been in the ground for almost 100 years and have survived many a hurricane.

Driving down this road is a treat. So lovely to see the palm trees on both sides. The Edison Ford estate is on this road.

Been down McGregor Boulevard quite a few times over the 20 years but they need to have the lights in sequence helping the flow of traffic.

First Timers are amazed at miles of Royal Palms planted along both sides of the boulevard. Many take this parallel road to 41 just for the view. You'll also find some great Restaurants and the Famous Ford/Edison homes to visit as we'll.

I walk up and down McGregor Blvd most mornings and enjoy the trip more each time. From the Edison/Ford Winter Estates to the Edison inspired palm tree lined boulevard and the historic homes along the way, it is a beautiful stretch of highway.

This drive takes you from historical Ft. Myers to Sanibel/Captiva Islands & is comparable to drives in Los Angeles area, except with a distinct South Florida feel.
