Definitely not what was advertised . When we arrived at the bahamas there was no mention that basically everything you expect to do was destroyed by hurricanes and it was never rebuilt. We brought tickets for a round trip to the city center from the ferry . ***WARNING ***this bus has no windows & is very outdated , basically to... More

Before my son and his friends went on their trip to the Bahamas, we researched all luggage requirements for the plane and for the boat. Being that the boat had stricter and smaller requirements, we made sure that all of the kids had the right size bags at the right weight. Upon leaving Fort Lauderdale, 2 out of the 3... More

The waiting room for the ferry is pathetic, the place for packages horrible, the ferry and food ok. The price is good so we can support it. The worst, if they cancelled the ferry, you have to pay the extra days in Bahamas. I can't belive that. Never again.

A group of friends and I boarded the Balearia for a spring break trip to the Bahamas. The boat was sanitary with some very friendly staff, however, some staff were not the friendliest when it came to dealing with questions about the organization of the trip. The seas and rough current made it an unhappy ride and many of my... More

I arranged a trip with a nice girl Lynell she was very helpful. I needed to get to the Bahamas for a funeral on a Saturday morning, so I scheduled the trip for Friday and would arrive there on time. I planned to stay Friday night and Saturday night and then return to Fort Lauderdale Sunday to catch the red... More

Last year I took a day trip with this same company to the Bahamas. It was a nice time. We decided to try it again and it was horrible. The boat left late, and everything was unorganized. They sold the boat we went on last time, and even the staff seemed upset about that. The boat smelled terrible, the bathrooms... More

I'd been seeing a recurring Groupon for this company for over a year before I finally decided to go for it. I wish I had bought one sooner. My Groupon provided for a same day roundtrip option only, so my husband and reserved our space online, paid the $18 international tax fee per person and then we drove the 3... More

I heard about 1 day trips to the Bahamas but was always skeptical, but when i found this great deal on groupon I figured it wouldn't hurt to try. It turned out to be an amazing trip We left out of Ft. Lauderdale, got to the terminal at 5:30 am thinking it would be crowded but it was empty. I... More

One word UNBELIEVABLE Let me start with the ride back was AMAZING. But let's talk about the trip there. We get to the station in Ft Lauderdale. We were told to get the hours in advance. We arrive and walk in to no clear direction on where we should go or where we should be. We just guessed. The information... More

The terminals, both in Ft Lauderdale and Freeport, are small and dirty. I don’t know why they tell you to be there as early as they do because everyone just ends up waiting a long time for the ferry. One surprise is that even though we paid something like 500 USD for the tickets (2 adults and 1 child) we... More
