Dockside cafe-Great view-average food, but worth a visit

Before reading the review, let me tell you a bit about 15th Street Fisheries. First, it has been around for a very long time (my first visit there was in 1984). I believe the... read more

I've dined at this place several times but over the past year have noticed a significant decline in overall quality. From cheap napkins, insufficient flatware and most importantly food, something has changed with the place. They recently did an overhaul of the entrance and kitchen and introduced a new menu. I've tried several times to find something decent on the... More

We had friends in from New Jersey and with the weather they have been having we wanted a waterfront restaurant with a beautiful view. We have been there many times. The food and service was great. The new lobby is a great place to wait for people when the bar is crowded. Dinner was delicious and portions were good. We... More

Before reading the review, let me tell you a bit about 15th Street Fisheries. First, it has been around for a very long time (my first visit there was in 1984). I believe the building is the original which sat at that location. The architecture looks rustic and "Old Florida", which works for this place and adds to the charm.... More

My husband and I share the spinach salad and it was very good and a large enough for the two of us .... Service was good and friendly but the restaurant could use some renovations and more cleanliness but overall it was good for a drinks and snacks.

My husband and I went for lunch today and had the clam chowder for the first time. It was over salted, very lumpy and had little or no fish and that was the best part of it. A few hours later, I spent the afternoon suffering from severe gastric problems...you can fill in the blanks. I'll never again have that... More

Water taxi guide raved about this restaurant so we tried it. But the menu and the food was so so. I was expecting more choices in the fresh fish. But only 3 standard fish choices which I find even in the mid west (away from the shore). Sea food skillet was the most disappointment. Good part was that after complaining... More

My husband was given a gift card to this restaurant (by family who had been there twice on a recent trip and loved it) and we had such a lovely evening. We took the Water Taxi to the restaurant and were lucky enough to sit in the porch area outside overlooking the water. It's casual dining downstairs, more fancy upstairs.... More

Our flight never left St. Maarten until 2 hours late & arriving in customs was not much of a pleasure but overall the TSA/Customs folks did a great job. We were due in at 5:30 - got to the Renaissance at 7:30. Will Ft. Lauderdale highways torn up around airport & rain it took us some time to find the... More

The view is awesome but the place was musty and dingy and the food was alright, certainly not the best. They also charged us an 18% service charge for using a Groupon!!! All in all not worth the money...

We had lunch at 15th Street Fisheries this past Thursday, October 10th, while filming an episode of our show in Fort Lauderdale with Professional Bull Riders, Inc. The restaurant provided a perfect, relaxing break from our long morning of filming, and the food was excellent. Notable items that our guests & crew raved about included the blackened mahi tacos &...
