Second best Cruise port in the world after Port Canaveral, and we've been all over the world. Terminal #2 is great.

It certainly helped that we were the only ship in port this day, so no traffic and no crowds. The terminal was functional and the staff were nice. We were on board in 30 minutes. And there are some nice Florida views from the ship.

This was a good port experience. When we arrived we dropped our rental car off just outside the port gate and the car rental company took us to our ship on a free shuttle. When we returned from our cruise my wife, by then in a wheelchair due to sciatica, was taken to a waiting area just off the ship and near an an elevator to wait to go to customs downstairs. And there we waited. Our only complaint was there was no line or number system in place to wait for an escort to take us to customs via the elevator. The waiting group who had mobility issues were on the honor system to tell arriving attendants who was next in line. We were in the last group to exit our ship and it appeared that those who were ambulatory had been given priority to go through customs. Some in wheelchairs reported they had waited for 45 minutes to go down the elevator with an escort. There must be a better way to handle this process for those with disabilities. Port officials should implement a "take a number" system for those with disabilities.

We have been lucky enough to cruise out of Italy, Australia & Singapore but the experience in Fort Lauderdale, the Everglades Cruise Terminal, with Princess, was by far the simplest, smoothest & fastest, by a long way!

Probably helps that they do this big time, every single week of the year. One of the 3 busiest cruise ports on the globe, this is a well oiled machine.

Great start to a 2 week trans-Atlantic cruise.

The ease with which they shuttle people on and off the ship is amazing. Had no problems whatsoever. We got dropped off by Uber and a gentleman approached us and took our bags before we even got inside. I hope for more cruises in the future departing from this port!

The port is well laid-out and fairly easy to navigate. The whole place looks clean and well looked after. The porters were pleasant and helpful. And the efficiency with which they move you on and off your cruise ship is impressive.

The cruise port is a very efficient place! They move thousands of passengers on and off ships at random times on various days of the week. It’s amazing how quickly they can turn a ship from coming in to port. To leaving that same evening with a whole new group of passengers. The cruise terminal employees are always friendly and good at making conversation with people.
