This was one of my wife's favorite places as a kid, so she was excited to take our kids there while in Fort Lauderdale. We had fun but it is definitely dated and wore out. The whole place seemed to need a deep cleaning and some sort of repair. Also the restrooms were DISGUSTING! There was a large premiere at... More

I grew up coming to the old museum, but now the facility is. Amazing science things to learn and play hands on. Our school had a field trip and we had an amazing time. No one once said they were board!!! Winner winner! Hands on, puzzles and pullies, live animals in exhibits. Imax is a great experience.

We came here for a visit during spring break. It was myself and my three year old along with my friend and her four year old. I spend over $60 on four basic tickets and I felt ripped off by the end of the day. They shouldn't charge so much for adults! It's ridiculous because there's nothing for us to... More

This is a really nice place to visit, specially if you have young children. They have an IMAX show and nice theater which was a great way to start the visit. There are a lot of interactive exhibits which is very stimulating for the kids. We would say this is a very modern museum for children of all ages.

What better way to have the grandparents and children do something together, that's indoors and with plenty of interactive exhibits. They also have a small live area of various marine animals and habitats. We went with our 2 year old and he loved it.

Our family had a fun time here. There is something for everyone. My son loved all of the airplanes and my daughter loved the animals (otter especially). The airboat simulator was a little anti climatic but the rest of the museum made up for it.

We had an amazing time here. Started the day with an IMAX show and their theater was awesome. The exhibits the museum had were very hands on and for all ages. Water, engineering, weather, medical, and so much more. We spend four hours there and felt like the time was well spent. For four adults and one child with the... More

Wanted something to do with the hubby to break out of the Miami rut. Great choice! First off they offer free admission for teachers as long as you show proof of employment. My husband got a law enforcement discount. As soon as we walked in we literally felt like little kids touching EVERYTHING. So many interactive stations. We went mostly... More

The museum is much expanded with many hands on activities From orange grove production to water conservation plus live sea otters and alligators + motion ride through the Everglades on an airboat+ 3D printing + space mars rover...... so much for the kids to do!!! Then the IMAX theater should a feature be showing of interest
