Enjoyed the afternoon with locals and a great bartender (Austin). Between him and several locals, we got all the information and local color we could ask for. Indoor smoking was not a problem due to a efficient air filtration system.

We enjoyed the decor- the ceilings and carvings. We had a drink- for me, it was the pirate's punch. I would have liked it if the souvenir glass had been glass and not plastic. We were there on a Wednesday, so not much was going on in the bar. It was pretty quiet.

Stopped in with 3 others. Pretty expensive for two beers and two sodas. Did enjoy seeing the interior of the building. Glad I don't smoke - $8 a pack from a vintage cigarette machine.

Four stars because it's Florida's oldest bar. Nice bar and staff. Saw a few couples walk up to the door and turn away because of the stench of tobacco smoke. I don't smoke but I wanted to try their "famous" Pirate's Punch, so I went in had a quick one and left. My wife waited outside. The drink was OK.

The decore is spars but old. You can feel the age of the place. This is a good place for a quick drink. Smoking is allowed. I would not expect to hang out all day, but it is probably a fun spot for locals.

This place is billed as the oldest bar in Florida. It really has a nice bar and the old wood in the place makes it a spectacular place to stop. They even have it decorated for Halloween.

The whole establishment consists of a main bar with live music, a "club" scene in a second room, and a sports pub/pool hall in a third room. The main bar has a lot of history to it, the bartenders were fast, and the music was awesome (chilly rhino). We will be coming back to Fernandina Beach, just to go to... More

Billed as the oldest bar in Florida and it certainly looks and feels the part with the hand carved mahogany back bar wall fixtures, hand painted wall murals, tin ceilings and inlaid tile floors. There is even an old time brass cash register. Two things I haven't seen in a bar in I don't know how many years, a Wurlitzer... More

This bar is the oldest bar in both Fl., and the US, according to records. Unique decor is supposedly authentic; including the cash register (look closely at the keys). Years prior, visited by the locals; today , Snow Birds flock like Geese! The drinks are strong and the food is fit for Blackbeard!!! Off season is the best time for... More
