Fun cruise to cumberland

We took the 10:30 am cruise. It took us over to Cumberland island. The guides were very informative and entertaining with the stories . Would highly recommend. Worth every minute.

A lot of talking very educational, wild horses, bald eagles, after you pay they do ask for tips. We had a blast

Although we live in nearby Jacksonville FL which has plenty to do, we love to bring family and friends to Fernandina for a fun day trip, the highlight of which is the two- hour Cumberland Island cruise on Amelia River Cruises. The boats are comfortable and well maintained; the trip provides a wealth of historical information on the shrimp industry,... More

We had a family situation come up 15 minutes before our scheduled cruise. The Staff at Amelia River Cruises were all very helpful in canceling and refunding the cost. I was not expecting a refund....Its great to see a company so easy to work with. We will be back! Thanks especially to Angela for the positive attitude!

We took our three generations (10 people) on the afternoon cruise the day after Thanksgiving. We were towards the end in boarding so we couldn't sit outside, but once we were underway there were no problems moving around the boat. The captain and his assistant were engaging with all ages and provided some interesting commentary on the history and activities... More

We took the cruise while visiting the area. The weather was perfect. We sat on the outside benches. Lots of beautiful scenery and great local history as well. The cruise goes to Cumberland Island, where we saw lots of the wild horses, along with other wildlife. A very worthwhile and inexpensive trip.

Went on the morning river cruise so we could see the sites around Amelia and Cumberland Islands. The boat/ship is comfortable with areas in the sun and a canopy for shaded space. Also a decent restroom--which is always important! Had a great time with Captain Pajama Dave, who is extremely informative and also makes the cruise a lot of fun.... More

We took the sunset cruise which was also a fundraiser for the harbor master of 30 years whose home suffered flooding during Hurricane Matthew. Two performers entertained us throughout the cruise. The boat was full of mainly locals and it was BYOB. Lots of food and drinks was had by all, a good time

Thanks, tour guide, Dave and SIDEKICK, Mark for the fun, interesting and informative tour. We were out about 2 hours and 45 minutes. Enjoyed many points of interest: Amelia Island, Clinch Fort, many, many dolphins, wild horses, several varieties of birds and Cumberland Island, GA. It was a little chilly on the water, but nice, clean blankets were provided to... More
