On a beautiful May afternoon, we took the cruise around Amelia Island and to Cumberland Island. The experience was amazing. First we saw two of the horses that live on the island as we floated by. Then we had dozens of Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins, including some babies, playfully following the pontoon boat for a long time. The captain, Pajama Dave,... More

This was a great little cruise. We took the morning tour to Cumberland Island. Our Captain, Pajama Dave, was very knowledgeable about the area and it's history and gives you great ideas for places to explore that you probably would not have considered. Who knew that all those basketball nets (and all kinds of other nets) you see are made... More

Yep- Capt Pajama Dave and crew ran a tight ship. They had us laughing quite a bit, tugged a bit at heart strings in a good way, and showed us more than what I anticipated on our 3 plus hour tour (thought it was only 2.5!) What an absolute wealth of knowledge. His ship was immaculate, for those woman who... More

My wife and I took the van tour of Cumberland Island and enjoyed it very much. I highly recommend MIKE as a tour guide. He has worked on and around Cumberland Island for 30 years and knows all the history. Very pleasant and knowledgable. He made sure our ride was as comfortable as possible (the road is bumpy) and showed... More

Informative, relaxing tour. Went at 10:00 am, we took our own mimosas. 2 hours on the boat. Tickets were easy to purchase 20 minutes before boarding. We saw dolphins and the wild horses on Sable Island. Definitely recommend.

We had a great time on the cruise. Our Captain Dave was very fun and the Boo Radley band quite entertaining. The scenery was beautiful. The only suggestion for improvement would be to limit this tour to fewer people because with everyone on board and their BYOB supplies the boat was quite crowded and not everyone had a good view.

We took the 2:30 Beach Creek Tour which sails from downtown Fernandina around Fort Clinch and into Beach Creek at Cumberland Island. Since I work at the Cumberland Island Museum, I was, of course, interested in what the guide said about the island. He was "mostly" correct but got a few facts wrong. He also talked about the Kings Bay... More

Great cruise - entertaining captain kept us laughing with great jokes - his knowledge of the area and history was outstanding. The cruise was fun and informative. We saw dolphins and the wild horses on Cumberland Island. A really great excursion.
