Last evening, I had the pleasure of attending a preview of LBPH's first show of its 35th season- 'Dead Man's Cell Phone' by Sarah Ruhl. What a thoroughly captivating show! Under the direction of Steve Black, the actors masterfully told a tale about the our maddening reliance on cell phones, and how disconnected we really are in spite of how ubiquitous phones are. Seriously, whose voice would you want to hear if you had seconds left to live? The set was truly spectacular, allowing the scenes to move fluidly, assisted by the fantastical men in black. Turn off your devices for a bit, and go dream a little

So happy that our local little gem of a theater is back in business after this awful pandemic shut it down for over a year!!
Last night I enjoyed "SEPARATE BEDS" a play by M.J. CRUISE, and ably directed by Mr. BOB LA SALLE, it was a fun night, well acted by MIKE LEVASSEUR as Ernie,LINDA HAWK as Twink, HENRY BARRE as Blake and KATHI FAULKNER as Beth.
All did amazing jobs, so I do highly recommend this play!!!

I have been to this theatre several times and am never disappointed. What a gem for SW Florida. Recently saw Women of Comedy III. LOTS of laughs. So happy they are back open !! Strongly recommend if you are traveling through, here for the winter, or a year round resident you book a show. Good old fashion entertainment!!

Experienced Paisley Craze concert/show on January 4 with music from Woodstock. Highly skilled musicians and several vocalists created an entertaining evening which engaged the audience. Lemon Bay Playhouse is an intimate setting for up-close enjoyment. Absolutely loved it and would see them again!

attended a December performance of It's A Beautiful Life and was magically transported back a few decades to watch a radio production of one of my husband's favorite stories. I usually do not like to see movies and read books more than one time; this was definitly not the case!! kuddos to the cast.

A small town treasure. The facility is intimate and the productions I have attended have been excellent. Truly professional quality and a definite local asset.

Last night I had the privilege of attending this latest production of this season, a play called LYING IN STATE. Absolutely hilarious!!!! I went home with a belly ache from laughing so much.
Ably directed by Ric Goodwin, the cast as a whole was just phenomenal!!!!
Let me mention the ladies first. Judy Tilley did a great job with her role as Edna, Judy Glynn also mastered her role as Margo, but the newcomer Trish Campbell as Buttons surprised me the most and I do hope she will return for many more plays. (Actually, I hope all these ladies do just that!)
My thanks to the gentlemen in this play for allowing me to have so many laughs, Bob La Salle as Harry, Henry Reisinger, Jr., as Wally, Jim Manns as Herb and Gary Seddon as the Governor Fred. All did amazing jobs with their demanding roles.
I loved this play and recommend it highly.

Always been entertained by the production.
It's small & very friendly, unlike most similar operations.
Quite unique in it own way, love the fact that you meet the actors at the end of the performance

So glad I experienced this hidden gem! I saw the last matinee performance of “The Last of the Red Hot Lovers” and the talent
was way above my expectations. The tickets are very reasonable, the beautiful watercolors painted by a local in the lobby are for sale, free wine and cheese, beverages(donation jar)at intermission!
Do yourselves a favor and go to a show here. I am returning with friends next time.
