Directed by renowned RON BUPP, "I OUGHT TO BE IN PICTURES" is one of the best plays that Lemon Bay Playhouse has brought to Englewood. My guests and I were just blown away by the performances by MIKE LEVASSEUR, who so ably portrayed Herb Tucker, KATHI FAULKNER who did a great job portraying Steffy, but we were all blown away... I went with friends to see Tuesday's with Morrie. It was such a deeply thought provoking play . Most enjoyable. The two principal characters were astonishingly good. The director had to step into the role of Morrie as the scheduled actor had had an accident. It is certainly one of the smallest theatres I've been to but that doesn't take... More

A quaint little playhouse theatre. Best of all, the seats were reasonably comfortable with lots of legroom. Sight lines were good and the theatre is small enough that hearing the actors was not a problem. Wonderful volunteers as well.

Currently playing is the local production of the comedy "Office Hours". Be prepared for an evening of funny entertainment. Intimate theater with approx. 100 seats. Free on-site parking. Plan to rive about 15 minutes before showtime. All seat are reserved. Complimentary (donation appreciated) wine, cheese and non-alcoholic punch.

The theater is small with seats for less than 100. Not a bad seat in the house. We went with another couple to see Office Hours and laughed throughout the show. Great performance by the cast. If I lived in the area, I would have season tickets.

Not a bad seat in the house. Only holds 90 or so. Saw "Office Hours" and had many laughs. They have an intermission with complimentary cookies, cheese, crackers and drinks being wine or non alcoholic. They do suggest donations. They have a raffle before the show to win 50% of take. Very enjoyable evening.

The new play OFFICE HOURS officially opens tomorrow night ( 1/18/17) but being a volunteer I had the privilege of seeing the second dress rehearsal of this play tonight and it was absolutely HILARIOUS!!!! I laughed so hard - and don't we all need a little more laughter in our lives??? The acting was outstanding - this play had 11... More

I've volunteered at this wonderful, intimate venue for nine years. It's a warm friendly place with a large following. The shows are excellent and your $18.00 ticket includes refreshments at intermission. A great place to be involved with. Don't miss it!

I love the Playhouse. The performances are always so good. The choice of material is varied. The theater itself seats all of 100 bodies and the stage is tiny, makes for an interesting and intimate evening. Wine and snacks at intermission, and always a 50-50 for their scholarship fund.

As a volunteer, I am entitled to see the dress rehearsal before the Grand Opening, which is tomorrow night (September 7). I (as well as the other volunteers) can bring a guest, so the place was pretty full. I never expected it to be THIS FUNNY!!!! The play is called EXIT LAUGHING, and I am telling you, I have a...
