We enjoyed walking the dunes, but this was a pretty small park for us to visit. The trail was very scenic with beautiful ocean views.

Our first visit to the Emerald Coast and Destin would not have been official without a walk along the beach. Staying in the south part of town, the closes beach access was just a stroll away from the park. Although we didn't venture off of the beach, I found it impressive that this park extended right to the water's edge.... More

Henderson Beach is the most beautiful and cleanest Beach we've visited thus far!! Every view was a postcard! The sand is sugary white and the water a vivid emerald green. The Beach was safe, well patrolled and maintained. Even the wildlife - seagulls etc were friendly. There is a 6.00 per person fee and the Beach is open till sunset. There... More

Sugar sand, dunes, clear water what's not to love! Campground is clean with boardwalk access to the beach. Grayton, Topsail and Henderson all beautiful big rug friendly campgrounds. Destin has everything you could want, take a short drive to Seaside you won't regret it!

Good access to beach/water without condos all over. Pavillion includes restrooms which are well maintained. A small fee is charged to enter the park.

I have been to a lot of beaches but nothing compares, in my opinion, to the beaches in Destin, Florida (as well as Fort Walton Beach, Florida). Wow. I mean WOW!!! Simply gloriously beautiful sugar white sand against gorgeous blue water. This place is utterly magnificent.

I now have an annual state park pass just so I can visit it daily! beautiful beaches, they have covered picnic areas, showers and a hiking trail you can bring your dogs on that is simply amazing. They even have camping facilities as well. The Park Rangers and volunteers are the BEST!! Plus a local church does beach service (no... More
