If you are staying in or near the Sandestin resort I highly recommend visiting the Baytowne Wharf at any time of day. There are many things to do for all ages. Restaurants, activities, close to the Baytowne Marina.

Very touristy, Many different restaurants and bars. We went to ACME pretty good but way over priced compared to the Nawlins original. not our scene.

This is a great spot that gets even better after 6 PM. They have live music at seven. There's a small part of it that looks like New Orleans. They have a merry-go-round, zip lining, rock climbing, ice cream and FatTuesdays. It's a must see

This was a nice surprise on our trip to the panhandle. Very nice shops (purchased some well made apparel), activities for kids, marina for rental items and fishing, restaurants and live music. We felt like should've stayed within this community.

It was very crowded, but they did a great job directing people to overflow parking. We ate at Acme Oyster House, had ice cream at Moo La La, watched the fireworks, listened to some live music, and had a great time! Would definitely recommend this place!

You enter a gated community and receive a guest pass for parking. They have created a small village with restaurants and shops as well as a large children's playground. It's a nice break from the beach.

Walked around and decided to have lunch at Hammerhead. Good food and a nice view. After lunch, great boardwalk. Saw dolphins, many birds and lots of wildlife. Fun day.

My husband and I retired and moved to Sandestin permanently. The Village is within walking distance of our home and we enjoy going there frequently. Walking around the village is relaxing with it's shops and restaurants. Sunset on the pier is magnificent!
