What a great day of fishing we had. Capt. Thrasher found us several sweet spots and Zack, his first mate (& son) is one of the hardest working young men I've ever seen...he never stopped, had our poles rigged expertly and kept everything organized. We...More

Love the view, food, and activities. Disappointed to see Fisherman's Wharf replaced with a more formal, more expensive Restaurant.

When you are ready to take a break from the beach, and experience the essence of Destin Harbor, head to the Emerald Grande Harborwalk Village at the foot of the Destin bridge. A panoramic view of the East pass and it's spectacular sunsets, a working...More

The closest major airport would be VPS. Valparaiso-Fort Walton Beach. Destin has a private airport right now.

Is this area near or part of the old east pass marina? If not, have all of the charter boats moved to this location? Also, if not, is it right next to the bridge? It's been awhile since we have vacationed in Destin and I may have my places all mixed up. Prior to 2011 all of our family vacations since I was a baby '71 were spent in Destin. My Grandad owned one of the first condos built in Destin when it was still just a small fishing village. I have so many fond memories and can't wait to return for a visit in a couple of weeks.
