Love taking my children here. Birds eat right out your hands. Nice walk. Bring water- it's hot. We lave that it's right next to the library. Not bad if it's hot- might be better on a cooler day.

How fortunate it is that I learned about the opportunity to walk with an environmental specialist for a couple hours this morning at Lyonia Preserve, learning much about Florida flora and fauna in this part of Florida. Go to the website to look for opportunities...More

We went for a walk in the preserve on Monday. We saw a lot of difference flowers and blue jays. The preserve is a nice place for a walk.

If you like going to the library then this is a great perk. Located right behind the Deltona Library it is nice to go for a walk to clear you head.

Lyonia Preserve is a preserve for Florida scrub pines and the animals that live there. It is the only place that I ever saw the scrub jay with its unusual coloring.
