This park is one of the easily accessible public access points to the Atlantic Ocean in Boynton Beach- It has free parking and no fee for beach entry- many of the other locations along A1A require meter parking or there is no parking allowed even though there are many public access points - especially in the Briny Breezes Area- (the locals keep it well disguised which is totally understandable- NOT) The beach is guarded from 9a-5p- The park is really nicely kept and there are swings, outside showers, and facilities- all in immaculate condition-
The beach itself is beautiful-BUT- there is a lot of debris that washes ashore on a daily basis that is not removed ......yet for a few times a month- the people that visit are very conscious of the "Green" aspect of the park and there is plenty of areas for disposing of trash. The debris I'm speaking of is coming in from the Atlantic Ocean- Man0wars-seaweed-plastic-papaer etc. NOT from park patrons.
Life Guards- Top notch- Hands down- I have NEVER seen a better group- Excellent. If there is a shark in the area- they will be on top of it and everyone comes out of the water- no nonsense- and there are daily warnings if there are Man-o-wars in the area-
Parking- There are only about 90 parking spaces- If you get there after 9am- especially in the "high" season you will have to wait for a parking spot to open up- this can be extremely challenging- and someday this "melee" is going to result (if it hasn't already) in someone getting seriously injured in a fight or run over by an idiot- it is almost frightening to see what goes on between the vacationers battling for a parking spot- who have no idea what the proper procedure is when acquiring a parking spot- y Beach Beach needs to institute a waiting cue lane- just like a taxi stand- so there is a method to the madness- before someone gets seriously injured. I have seen a volunteer "attendant" on duty occasionally but truthfully he seems to make more of a mess of things than as if he wasn't there at all. Just beware and be courteous and you should be fine- But if you come off the beach lets say around 1p- do not be surprised to be surrounded by people following you to your car to grab your spot- and that's when the fights occur (between multiple waiting patrons) WAKE UP Delray BEACH! I would give it five stars if not for this parking problem.

Great beach with a quieter vibe.
Just down from “Delray Beach”, this is the same piece of ocean, just a more laid-back location, away from the crowd of Atlantic Avenue.
Wide beach with beautifully soft sand, the water is warm and inviting.
Pack your lunch, get there early or late in the day as parking is pretty limited and set up your beach site.
Enjoy.

Clean family beach with playground and picnic area. There is free parking but the lot is small and fills up quickly. So come early. On the day I went it was very windy and there were a lot of baby jelly fish. Nice beach and I will definitely return.

Perfect little hidden gem❣️ I was so glad to find this little BEACH. We watched several pelicans diving and eating their catch for hours. What fun😎 Parking is limited, but FREE 👍 There wasn’t any walking trails in that location, but a pleasant little walk to get to the beach. Restrooms and a soda machine were just what I needed for this unexpected stop. Luckily had the chairs & umbrella in the car.

Nice place to spend part of a day if you are lucky enough to find a parking spot. Boardwalk down to the beach was pretty, but could feel like quite the hike to some, especially if you are bringing gear to the beach. Waves were big the day of our visit.

I took a ride down to A1A looking for a beach and luckily I found this one. It was magical. First it is Wednesday and there was free parking. Places to bbq and plenty of benches along the path to beach. Children’s playgrounds and public bathrooms. Lots of shade. Unfortunately, double staircase down to beach. Not good for handicapped. Did not see a ramp to beach. However, I walked down. Short beach, clean and water was clean. It was a glorious find

Beautiful beach nestled away from the general public, bathrooms and showers a plus after a day in the sand, not many people were in the "buff" but a a beautiful beach either way. Glad someone finally made this beach clothing optional and gives us a private beach none the less it is not official yet so Bathe in the buff at ur own risk.

Not sure I should give all the credit to this beach area as it deserves since I feel then I will be revealing too much, and maybe it will be more crowded ;)
To conclude first: I just love this beach area!
During low season ot is normally not difficult to get parking. AND parking is free! If it is full you may have to wait 5-20 minutes for someone to leave, but in my opinion worth the wait. If you are an early bird you may even get to park under the trees. There is also handicap parking, although beach area not 100% perfect for handicapped (some stairs down to the beach).
There is a nice barbeque area, playground for children, toilet/bathroom/showers, and soda/water that can be purchased from a machine (takes card).
The beach is normally guarded, and sometimes at least I feel that they are a little paranoid with their whistle, but it is their job!
When entering the water it goes fairly deep right away. Can be some under water rocks. Beach sand is nice but not like Key Biscane.
I have visited this beach fairly often over the past 8 years and this year it tends to be a little less garbage and plastic than I saw and picked up before. (May or may not be true. Today I even saw a family going around with bags picking up plastic/garbage like I often do. Way to go!
If you get hungry while being here there is a Deli just 200 meters northwards in the main road from the parking aera. There you can buy sandwiches and other needed stuff. The freshly pressed orange juice is great, but you will have to do it yourself!
There are no sunbeds/chairs or parasols for rent on the beach, so you need to bring your own.
And becareful with the Turtle nests, there are several marked ones.
Happy swimming and tanning!

Is Gulfstream Park beach a true nude beach or a clothing optional beach
Written 9 October 2019
Not technically but the majority of the women that frequent that beach are seen sunbathing topless and no one seems to mind.

The past few years when in FL I have gone to Blind Creek Beach. I had not heard of Gulfstream Park. Is it sanctioned or just tolerated? Is there a web site with info?

Hi, Barbara.
For health and safety reasons, dogs are not allowed on- or off-leash at County beaches, including Gulfstream Park, or any other park location where signs are posted. We invite you to visit any of our four dog parks (inside South County Regional Park, Lake Ida Park West, Okeeheelee Park & John Prince Park) or any of our other park locations where dogs are welcome while they're on a leash no greater than six feet. Thank you for understanding.
Thank you,
Bibi

Where is clothing optional section at Gulfstream? North or South of main entrance/parking lot?

Is there a new planned community here?
Written 4 January 2019
This is a free, municipal park so I think you can get that answer if you call the park services. I will say that many beaches for example Atlantic Avenue beach in Delray, although technically it’s always had signs up saying dogs are not allowed and that there is a $500 fine for dogs – – the reality is that there are dogs many dogs there every single day and I spoke to a few dog owners and they told me that no one ever and forces those regulations at that beach.
