LOVE Atlantic Avenue! Very hip with an urban chic vibe. Great dining venues, boutiques, arts & culture. Atlantic Ave is ENERGY! There are always people everywhere. The restaurants are fantastic, upscale boutique clothing shops and art gallstones galore, lots of events throughout the year. Non stop fun and only a block from the beach. Way too many restaurants to visit... More

A beautiful, sunny, warm day on Atlantic Avenue makes for a great stroll before/after dining and shopping. It truly is the best way to see Delray Beach. Enjoy your time while taking in wonderful Delray Beach with its events, activities and festivals strolling down Atlantic.

Great to visit when the arts or crafts festivals are featured. Keep an eye out for special events. Parking can be a nightmare so look for public parking garages. Most of the best shops & restaurants are off the regular strip. Restaurants are pricey on the strip and are not geared towards locals. Clothing shopping is entertaining as it is... More

We often vacation in Delray Beach and nearly always end up on Atlantic Ave. to dine and listen to live music, but on our most recent visits, including twice last week, we have noticed how leisurely dining spots favored by older folks have been replaced by bars which, in my opinion, are rather loud and somewhat raucous. For us, this... More

I thought I loved Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Boca, but then I Discovered Atlantic Ave in Delray Beach. Many Restuarants, bars, beach, Plus you can be very casual. New Year's & St. Patrick's Day are the best as they close the Ave down to Traffic. Outdoor restuarant, great people watching.

Tons of specialty shops, cafes, restaurants, art galleries, places for souvenirs, apparel, everything that you can think of, is right there on Atlantic Avenue. Better to find a place to park, as you are going to want to walk. And when it's busy, it's really busy. Park the car, walk from end to end, and just enjoy. How can you... More
