it is a nice walk on a secluded island just off the intercoastal canal off hillsboro blvd. it can only be reached by a free shuttle boat which runs every 1/2 hr on weekends only.

the ferry only runs on weekends and once you get there you have about an hours worth of entertainment to see once you are there. it is a beautiful place to see just don't plan on making a day of it

Hi, Elaine. Dogs are not allowed in any of the Broward County nature centers or natural areas, which includes Deerfield Island Park.
