Wonderful experience with my 2 grandsons 5 and 2 yrs of age. The Waterpark is age appropriate. Did not see teenagers at the park. Lots of kids enjoying themselves.Park was very clean and so were the restrooms. The colors at the water part were bright and not worn. Plenty of seating and shaded areas for everyone. Though I did not purchase anything at the concession stand it was open. My grandsons loved it.

We booked a night in the teepee and were really disappointed to have roaches crawl out from under our sleeping bags when we came back from brushing our teeth. Of course there are bugs in south FL, but we would have appreciated being able to bring our own tent that was bug free (and zipped to remain bug free). The idea was cool, the reality, not so much. It seems like the park may have been cool, but I would skip the camping.

First, you have to pay for parking, then you have pay every two hours that you are in the water park. If you get to the water park in the middle of a two hour session, your choices are either to pay the full session price even though you don't get your two hours worth or sit out in the sun and wait for the next session to start which is not a very good option with two kids. And, this place doesn't have a full sized pool, just the water play ground for the kids

We won't be going back. For the same money, you can go to Coconut Cove in Boca, the water park in Margate on Royal Palm just west of 441 (I forget the name) or the one in Coral Springs on Coral Springs Drive just south of Royal Palm. You pay the same money as paarking and one session at this rip off but you get to stay all day and all the others have full size pools.

I love this park but the ren faire that I just attended last weekend was a complete rip off. I usually go every year. First they are all about money and charging you too much for items you can get cheaper from China, amazon or Etsy. The shows are the same and no new content and they all want tips. Everyone wants tips. Don't forget you pay a lot of money to go inside. They did not have their usual beer and cider vendors. They served Japanese beer and a tasteless cider and charged a lot for it. The best show with the birds of prey was not flying on my visit due to technical issues? I blame the people who organize the faire. My favorite band has gone downhill as well. They used to be awesome. Now they have little energy and have some old guy holding a sword during the set??? Makes no sense. This band used to have belly dancers and so much energy. Now they are like the rest of the festival, lackluster and want tips. If you have not gone before you will have a good time but repeat visitors will be disappointed. Just had to let you all know about my experience. I don't think I will go again.

We camped for a couple nights in January of this year. The weather was very comfortable, just cool enough for a fire. Our stay was basically perfect.

Now, you have to understand that these are Teepees, not tents with mosquito netting. So you either need to bring preventative measures, or camp there when the weather is conducive to camping without bug netting. For our trip, since the weather was slightly cool, we never saw a mosquito at all. In fact, we never dealt with bugs of any sort.

The teepee is relatively traditional, and you have to open and close the ventilation flaps with long poles, which is easy enough for someone of moderate strength. These Teepees aren't 100% water proof, and in rain, they can get wet in the center. Fortunately, the area inside of them is quite large, and you can position yourself accordingly. The Teepees also have a raised platform inside, so ground moisture is of no concern whatsoever.

The fire pits at the tent sites have a built in grill, which makes fire cooking a pretty simple endeavor. Trash cans are at each site, as well as metal poles with hooks to hang them on. Also, water and electricity are right there behind the tent, which is a nice convenience. The sites all have a picnic table, too.

The restrooms are just across the street, basically, and I found them to be generally pretty clean. There's also a washout sink behind them if you need to clean dishes, so you don't have to run soapy water all over the ground.

There's also a camp store, open until 5:00pm or 5:30pm, which is a short walk away. They sell some camping essentials (bug spray, toiletries, a little food, s'mores kits), as well as firewood. Though it's stored in a shed, I found the firewood to be a little damp until it dried out, so it may be worth bringing a bag or two of firewood from Home Depot or wherever you get it.

Quiet Waters Park is one of our favorites. They have a water park (open depending on the season), Ski-Rixen, mountain biking trails, volleyball courts, lots of good walking paths, paddleboats and canoes on the weekends, and some very good freshwater fishing.

Right around the corner from the park, there's a publix, a super target, and probably anything else you need. And if you really want to un-rough-it, there are restaurants nearby that have take out and delivery. Balcon de las Americas is a favorite Columbian restaurant of ours, and it's right across from the park entrance.

All in all, if you have the wisdom to either come prepared or use the Teepees in fair weather, you can have a really great time. We sure did. If the weather is going to be unfavorable, or if bugs are going to be a major concern for you, try to get one of their pre-pitched tent sites. Unfortunately, there are no sites here for pitching your own tent.

For a quick, spur-of-the-moment or last-minute camping trip, the Quiet Waters Park Teepees can be a great choice.

Me and my group of friends decided to go camping here. The only thing that was available was 2 native American teepees and a cavin. the only problem was that the cabins were far away from the teepees and the teepees had huge holes in them. We asked the manager if there were any reservations for cabins that have been canceled since it was cold and supposed to be raining that week. She was very rude and said that there were no cabins available that whole week, which was a lie. some of the cabins were available for the next 3 days. we told the manager about the hole in the teepees and said that we should have seen the pictures online. then I told her the pictures were of the teepees from the outside and didn't show the hole. she then replied that we should have checked it out before we reserved it. She also said that nobody ever got wet sleeping in the teepees. One night we woke up soaking wet. Our trash was never picked up until we told the maintenance people about it and said that we had to leave it in the grass which was a lie because we've seen them pick up other peoples trash from the trash can. We wanted to go wakeboarding but the lady said that we need to get the safety release form notarized which was bs.the restroom smelled like urine

Surprised not to find reviews for the festival - just the park it's held in. It's been here for 20 years. Maybe because it only lasts for a month in Deerfield and then a month in Miami. Great cheap family fun. You can easily spend an entire day, maybe two to see all the shows. Regular price $20.00 for an adult ticket. Deals abound for free (donate blood, get a free ticket), twofers or discounted advance admissions or coupons at the gate. Have to look a bit, but they are there. Spending 6-8 hours is probably good. All Live entertainment, musicians, comedy acts, magicians, acrobatics, jousting, swordplay etc. costumed in period and fantasy and/or pirate garb. Open 10:00 am to sunset. All the staff are in character all the time. Artisans abound, lots of food choices too. Must see "Washing Well Wenches". This is not Disneyworld or Circue du Soleis, the acts are not all quite ready for prime time, but many are (and have appeared on TV). Look some up on YouTube. It's a must see at least once. Put it on your bucket list.

One of the hidden gems of Quiet Waters Park is the 7 plus miles of mountain bike track located in the park. Both novice and advanced trails are marked, winding through roots, rocks, sand, and jungle-like terrain. I discovered the trails while visiting my sister-in-law, who lived in a development adjacent to the park. Helments are required, and you'd be crazy not to wear one. For me, mountain biking at Quiet Waters approximates the thrill, fun, and exercise I get from snow skiing. It has been absolutely great fun for me and my two teenage boys to snake through the shady, dense overgrowth for a quick hour-long ride on a hot Florida afternoon. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Oh my Gee. The Ren Fest at Quiet Water's park absolutely blew me away. If I had known it was common for people to dress up I would have done so also! I was not expecting the level of fun that I had here. The jousting was awesome (Go Moran), the Glassblowing was pretty cool, we watched the Fire eater people (sue me, I cannot remember their name) We watched the show where the two guys jump into mud, and absolutely drenched the first rows in mud. The food is pricey, but what do you really expect? We decided to walk from the parking lot, but there is a mini shuttle, and pedicabs that are available. bring comfortable shoes, it's a huge festival, and bring sunblock, there isn't much shade.

We live in South Florida and wanted to go camping without traveling far. Quiet Waters Park offered a wonderful option. We rented Campsite 17.

The platform tent was very nice. The tent is made of sturdy military grade material and there is a tarp affixed overhead. While there is also a screen ours did have a large rip on the back side. It was ok because we closed that side anyway to keep our tent cooler.

The tent has electric and water hookups. I wished they were on the other side of the platform but honestly nothing a longer extension cord didn't help out with.

The campsite also comes with a fire pit, charcoal grill and picnic table. I was very surprised to have the fire pit and the grill be so big. we did not use the grill opting for the small grate on top of the fire pit to save on our charcoal. We did use the fire pit and it was wonderful.

The picnic table was in good shape and sturdy. Campsite 17 is on an incline so we moved the picnic table closer to the road to be flat and allow for our canopy to be placed overhead. It worked out well, but in the future we will look for a more level campsite. What #17 does offer is a lot of shade. There are mature trees surrounding the area. That is not the case for some other sites.

In addition to camping we spent some time at the Splash Adventure area and loved it. Lots of fun for our daughter and us. We also road our bikes, went for walks and overall just loved being outside for a short weekend getaway.

We will definitely go again. I will just pick a different site.
