Wonderful experience with my 2 grandsons 5 and 2 yrs of age. The Waterpark is age appropriate. Did not see teenagers at the park. Lots of kids enjoying themselves.Park was very clean and so were the restrooms. The colors at the water part were bright and not worn. Plenty of seating and shaded areas for everyone. Though I did not purchase anything at the concession stand it was open. My grandsons loved it.

Lots to see and do here. Free admission during the week. There wasn't even an attendant, when I drove in today, in the toll-taking booth. I understand that there's a slight charge on weekends. Hardly anyone was around on this warm morning. Some folks walking their dogs. There a dog park here, and a cable-driven water-skiing station. There were no water skiers at this time.
There are tents for rent overnight. Each has its own picnic table and BBQ grill. The tents are spaced far enough for individual privacy. All of them are overlooking nearby fresh waters. There are also two tepees, which are not close to the water. There's restroom facilities within walking distance of all these tents and tepees. Only one of the tents seemed occupied when I drove by today. A man was sitting just outside of his tent. His dog was lying down nearby. A quiet and idyllic setting.

This is a great local park that is well-maintained and has something for everyone. Ski Rixon for the teams and adults, the waterpark for the kids and a great playground. Quite a number of picnic tables and grill sites, too. And it’s a great place to take your well-behaved, leashed dogs.

Excellent extensive park with large beautiful lake. Quiet waters has it all. There are picnic areas, campgrounds, walking trails through nature preserves. a children's' park area, boating and water activities. A total escape just blocks from highway and urban sprawl, No charge to enter except on weekends and now they are free as well. During normal times there are frequent community activities including an annual Renaissance Fare, antique auto shows and more. Highlight of North Broward county.

Although the park now serves as a Covid testing site and a food distribution center, the Ski Rixen is open for kids and adults. My grandson attended several Sunday group lessons, remarked how very helpful his instructor was, and was able to conquer some jump ramps on his third lesson there. Great fun on a large lake in a very nice park.

The Quiet Waters Park is a really good place to go with the family and spend time together. A lot of activities to do such as line skiing, camping, dog park, bbq's, covered pavilions, bike trail, mini water park. And there are many special events throughout the year. Such a perfect place for a family kids get to have fun and also adults.Things to do for the whole family even pets. The price to get in isn't that expensive at all sometimes it depends how big the family is.

Why aren't there alligators in Quiet Waters Park? I spent time observing the ski classes there and wondered if the adult students were not concerned about Gators in the water each time one wiped out and had to swim back to shore.
Is it free to go in

We're happy to hear you'll be staying at Quiet Waters Park this weekend! We have never had an incident involving an alligator in the campgrounds at Quiet Waters but all of our parks are home to wildlife. Here are some safety tips we recommend for our guests: 1. Do not approach, feed, or taunt alligators, snakes, or other wildlife, including raccoons and squirrels. 2. Pets must be on a leash no longer than six feet. 3. Do not swim or wade except in designated areas. 4. Watch your children and pets. 5. Be aware of your surroundings as you would in any other public place. If you have any other questions, please contact the park office at 954-357-5100, ext. 0. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. - Broward County Parks and Recreation Division

We only went there for the Renaissance Faire, and there were food venders for that, but I really don't know anything else about the park or other events held there.
How close are the tents to one another? Can you see/ hear the people in the closest tent?
