We travel to Daytona a couple times a year (family nearby) and always walk Beach Street. It's a fun way to burn a few hours and the setting is very nice along the Halifax. There are a couple places you can stop for a drink and several nice eateries. On our last visit in October 2016, we noticed a concerted... More

Great if you like antiques. The candy shop on that street was awesome. Since I went during off season, I am not sure what to expect. It was quiet and a few shops and restuarants were open.

Beach Street runs from the Boardwalk at the beachside. There are several bars and restaurants. You must visit Boot Hill bar. It is actually across the street from and old cemetery called Boot Hill. During Bike Week this is the place to go to see the bands. Be forewarned ... it's busy!

The city has done a marvelous job of redecorating this area. The street is beautiful, the buildings are historic and the bike trail is amazing. But if I'm afraid to go there by myself, then the city failed its citizens. I went to ride down the bike trail and every ten feet was a bum trying to talk to me.... More

We spend several months per year in a nearby town. While we are in the area we always make a point of walking down Beach Street. There is a variety of interesting shops and restaurants, and a teriffic Irish pub that has traditional Irish music on Friday nights.

Beach Street is a sleepy, welcoming place. The businesses on the street are pleasant and homey. I love Beach Street with its rocking chairs and flowers with a view of the river. And it comes alive when the art shows are held.

Beach Street is a nice place for a walk as well as an opportunity to see the local sights and have some great meals. Beach Street is an easy walk from Halifax Harbor Marina.

Very disappointing, we arrived at 503 and they wouldn't let us in because there are no admissions after 5, even though they are open until 6. This isn't obvious on linked sites because they list the closing time (6). Though it is in on these site under the closing time. However frustrating that is, we were brusquely treated by the... Take a drive and you will be sure to find what your looking for. Tons of shops and places to eat. But watch out for bums. They are on just about every corner.

We always enjoy Beach Street. So many shops and so much to do. There are a variety of places to eat. Definitely something for everyone.
