This is a beautiful spacious beach. We were not crowded at all and we were right in front of a big resort. The water is clear and very clean.

$20 to park on the beach now? As a Florida resident you don't even offer a discount? What are you Disney World, Universal Studios and SeaWorld now??? Complete BS! The beach isn't even that clean anyways.

Pleasant beach w/ white sand. Large parts of flat with compact sand so you can ride your bike on the beach which is awesome.

The beach is it's legacy....it's hard packed sand! This is promoted by the tide moving in and out each day. Easily a distance of over 200 yards if not more. The city seems to work at keeping the beach clean as there are crews visible....More

We prefer Daytona Beach over any others because of the amount of soft sand. My four year old loves to just dig in the sand and when you get to Ormond Beach you get a lot more of the hard wet sand. It's so easy...More

This was my first time to visit Daytona, I was not impressed with the boardwalk area, they need to invest in a much better rides and mid-way. The rides are old, rusty and weren't many to choose from. The beach itself was nice and clean.

I have been going to Daytona for 10 years and have seen it good and bad. Just visited again in April and it has been cleaned up. The amusement park looks nice and tidy. Closer to the pier on the boardwalk is a hotdog stand...More

I’ve never seen so many homeless people in one spot! Really eye opening. One was taking a bath in the changing room sink and others reeked of alcohol. One offered my wife some vodka. Nothing against homeless people but it just felt a little awkward....More

Dirty, dingy, rundown. Restrooms are disgusting. Homeless women living in them and doing laundry in the sink. Boardwalk is small and very, very old. Not a family friendly vacation spot if you care about cleanliness.

Went for the day. Parked in large garage by the Hilton for 5 dollars all day. Easy access to beach and fair amount of restaurants so you can stay parked and eat after the beach

$10 or less. Beach access parking is available as well but if the real experience is on the beach. Earlier the better. This time of year there can easily be lightening storms and the lifeguards will "clear" the beach. We... More

Right along the strip where the Ocean center is. On the beach don't miss The Band shell. There are tribute bands and fireworks every Wednesday night.
